I need a CAD designer to translate concept drawings into GAs
Hi, I am after a CAD engineer that is competent in aluminum sheet metal design and welding. I can create concept drawings and these need to be translated into an assembly that is suited for manufacture. Units are welded and riveted so these must be considered. The assembly will be used for sending out to laser cutters for manufacture. There is plenty of work for the right candidate. I can provide examples of what is required initially aswell.
CAD drawing required for gate design
I have a gate which needs to be designed and have a CAD drawing to present to the client for approval. The gate will be constructed from steel box section and will have a welded on steel profiled decorative overlay. I have attached a drawing which provides and indication of what is required. The client requires the design to avoid any finger trap. I will require part drawings and a 3D model for approval
I need a 3D Hardsurface modeller to model a vaccum cleaner
Note: please share images of some of your more complex 3d model wireframes. I want to check topology skills before I give the job. I'm looking for someone to hard surface model a vacuum cleaner. Doesn't need to be totally exact as long as the end product looks like something similar to this. This is modelling ONLY. No need for renders. If you don't know how to do correct edge flow and quad topology then please do not apply. Please in Blender ideally (Other software is okay if I can see you also do good work, we could then work with .fbx's or similar) with a high quality quad based mesh. Simple principled shader materials (no maps) are fine for now, i'll edit the materials myself. Please make sure there are no holes or overlapping meshes or other errors. And if there is something like a wheel, the wheel in real life will not be welded onto the object so model it separately - I'm happy for it to be one object but just not joined by vertices, like a real wheel won't be part of the vacuum body, it will be free to spin. Hope that makes sense Lastly and very important. Try to keep the mesh as medium poly as possible, i'll then add a subdiv modifier on top for higher detail closeups. So please make it subdivision ready

Solidworks Drawing
We are looking for a reliable design engineer, to create 2D dimensioned drawings, along with creation of 3D step files from Solidworks native file. These will typically be structural members, from welded fabrications. 3D step files will need to be created of each individual member of the construction.
2D sketch to 2D and 3D Technical drawing and STEP files
I need someone to convert my sketches (and photo of physical prototype) into CAD dxf files and also to create a 3D model and include STEP files for each individual component. I need one dxf file with all 3 components on and also show it assembled and include all dimensions. I can only upload 3 images at the moment for some reason?? If you can also offer a welding drawing as well that would be great. Matthew
Plans for a 15' x 33' garage & 12' x 33' lean-to carport
Hi Nur Hatice Kübra, I am looking to have a single car garage (15' wide x 33' deep) with a single car port lean-to (12' wide x 33' deep) attached. I'd like to have the drawing created in a CAD type format. 1.) Please see idea sketch below (concept look only – this sketch is for a totally different size & type of garage) 2.) Overall dimensions (garage & carport) are 27' wide x 33' deep 3.) Dimensions - garage 15' x 33', + lean-to car port 12' x 33' 4.) Roof slope on garage is ~ 5/12 (not like sketch below) 5.) Roof slope on lean-to is ~ 3/12 6.) Garage door is on front (15' dimension side of garage) & is 10' x 8' tall 7.) Left side has 3 windows at 2'-4" x 4'6" - equally spaced along the 33' wall dimension 8.) Wall height of garage is 9' 9.) Wall height of lean-to can be less if it makes the roof slope (3/12) work better 10.) Man door to garage will be on right side & be 3' x 6'-8" & start 20' down from the front (not like sketch) 11.) 6" x 6" pressure treated columns for lean-to roof support 12.) Cedar shingles for siding 13.) 12" cornice overhang (not sure if that is different than what is shown) 14.) Structure will be on a slab foundation (footings, walls, slab) a.) Footings will be continuous at garage perimeter (15’ x 33’) & be 2’ wide x 10” deep with 2-#4 rebar b.) Perimeter block walls off of the footing will be 8” wide & be 40” tall (5 courses of 8” block) c.) Top block will be type to accept a 4” slab d.) Slab will be 4” with light welded wire fabric reinforcing Please let me know; 1.) Time needed for modification (work days) 2.) Cost to generate plans Thanks Jay Scott Cell 404 935 1909

Optimizing a gasifier
I am building a small scale gasifier and I want some amendments to the initial plan. I attach a short video. It was made in solidworks. I made a draft in tinkercad as it's easy for me to use and be able to demonstrate what I need. It is fabricated with threaded metal pipe fittings and no weld at all. There are also few stove pipe parts. The maximum space for construction is 1 mtrs long x 0.5 mtr wide x 1 mtr height I attach 2 video links of previous projects that I built but very basic constructions. https://www.youtube.com/shorts/z8NJ9JXX1Dc https://www.youtube.com/shorts/emNjlEmW9V4 So what is a gasifier? It's an incomplete combustion of biomass (wood, pellet, etc) that under high temperature and restricted oxygen, produces a flammable gas (syngas) that will be used to operate an internal combustion engine and particularly a generator. Please let me know if you are interested in this project and If you have a budget in mind. ( I would like unlimited revisions, until I am satisfied with the design) Time frame for completion is one week. Thank you

I need a paralegal or lawyer with consumer background (UK Only)
Hi, I recently purchased a horsebox lorry 7.5ton from a private seller.. it has MOT since April this year.. 1 day after collection I noticed problems with water ingress and asked a horsebox specialist to look at a repair.. while checking he checked underneath the vehicle and found a sub standard weld had been done to the chassis at the main load bearing axle. He also found the bracket holding the fuel tank to be hanging loose, broken/corroded. he deemed the vehicle unsafe and shouldnt be driven and never should had passed an MOT. what are my legal rights here and how do I progress with both the seller and VOSA/DVSA (If required for MOT that should never been passed)? setting a low budget until I know my rights.

A metal sundial 5m tall
I am designing a sundial but can't draw. It will consist of a metal frame with welded laser-cut steel sheets. I need someone who can do a few simple sketches and maybe a basic 3d model. Once i am happy with that I will then need good 2d drawings of each sheet that i can send to be cut. The frame is box steel. I have more detailed pictures of the panels (i can only post 3 here) The panels will get slowly smaller as they go up the sundial. I need someone who is good with designing in 3d and making stencils from graphics.
Agent based simulation using Netlogo
A car production factory is planned to be completely automated and serviced by robot agents. Metal sheets are delivered to the factory at regular intervals. Carrier robots then collect a sheet from the metal store and deliver it to sheet metal cutter agents who press the required shapes out of the sheet metal. The cut sheets are then taken to the welder agents, by the carrier robot agents, who weld the panels together to form a skeleton car body. The carrier agents then take the car bodies to the riveter agents, who finish the skeleton car bodies. The car bodies are then taken, by the carriers, to a storage area and from there loaded onto vans and taken to another facility for further processing. The cutters, welders and riveters are stationary and are maintained with power through a continuous fixed connection. Robots, which transport the sheets or car bodies use 1 unit of energy when travelling unladen and 2 units when transporting anything per simulation cycle. When their energy level becomes low robots must return to a robot room to recharge. They recharge at a rate of 5 units per simulation cycle. There are two quality levels of car body ‘Prestige’ and ‘Standard’. Each order may be either ‘Prestige’ or ‘Standard’. Both welders can produce ‘standard’ car bodies but only a specialised welder can produce the ‘Prestige’ version. The specialist welders take 7 simulation cycles to weld a car body together, whilst the other welder s takes 4 cycles.

Manufacturing Engineering Course Material
I am looking for someone to produce course material for an online engineering college on the following topics: Learning Outcome: describe the role of CAD/CAM in automated manufacturing A. 1. Determine the benefits and limitations of components manufactured by forging versus machined from plate metal 2. For a range of given components, investigate the most appropriate manufacturing methods B. 1. Describe the selection of machining processes depending on part geometry: i.e. flat and cylindrical geometry (e.g. the learner will understand appropriate machining processes depending on the geometrical form of the part required) 2. Understand the impact of material removal rate on surface finish and texture as well as speed of production (e.g. how material removal rate during conventional machining should be considered and its impact on the properties of the base material) 3. Understand the effect of production volume (prototypes, batch, and high volume) on the selection of the appropriate process and tooling (e.g. appropriate manufacturing processes and tooling depending on the required batch size.) C. 1 Describe the application of bonding technologies (e.g. material selection, appropriate application of bonding, e.g. welding, adhesives) 2 Describes the types and use of mechanical fastening (screwed fastenings, e.g. metric bolts, studs and set screws, self-tapping screws, locking devices; rivets, e.g. snap head, pan head and countersunk heads, bifurcated and pop rivets) 3. Understand the use of limits and fits during part to part assembly (e.g. use of limits and fits tables for typical engineering applications such as holes and shafts) 4. Evaluate how limits and fits influence fastener application (e.g. application of clearance fit fasteners vs interference fit) 5 Evaluate how the choice of bonding process can influence the product design (the learner should investigate an application where the types of bonding has influenced the component design) I need the following for the above learning outcomes: - written content to cover the points above with links to external resources such as videos and reading resources where relevant. - assignment questions to test learner knowledge of above together with model answers Please let me know if this project is of interest to you.
