Simple Android OBD-II Diagnostic App
I need an Android application that pairs with an ELM327 Bluetooth OBD-II adapter and performs a very limited set of diagnostic tasks. The goal is to give me a clean, lightweight tool rather than a full-blown scanner. Core behaviour • When the user taps “Connect”, the app must discover and bond with a standard ELM327 device and keep the link alive. • Once connected, it should read live PIDs for engine RPM and battery voltage/status and refresh them smoothly on screen. • A single button should read any stored trouble codes and, when pressed again, clear them. No additional graphs, logging or fuel-consumption features are required. Tech notes I am comfortable with you writing the project in either Kotlin or Java inside Android Studio; please use the standard Bluetooth APIs (or a lightweight library if it speeds development). PID queries can be hard-coded—no dynamic command builder is necessary. The interface can be minimal: two large numeric fields for RPM and battery, plus the read/clear button. Deliverables Full Android Studio project with well-commented source. One signed release APK I can load directly onto my phone. A short README explaining how to pair the adapter and which PIDs you used. Acceptance I will test by pairing the app with my own ELM327 dongle; connection must succeed within 10 seconds, RPM values should update at least twice per second, and clearing codes must return the standard success response. If this sounds straightforward to you, let me know your timeline and any questions you have.

Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance Setup and Config
We are seeking a Finance Data Migration Consultant with a strong understanding of core accounting principles and bookkeeping to set up our Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance environment. The project involves migrating 18 months of historical data from Sage 50 and configuring specific workflows for Accounts Payable and Employee Expenses. All current historical data relates to our UK entity but we will in due course be operating accounts for UAE and Global as well which needs to be factored into the setup of Dynamics setup. Key Responsibilities 1. Historical Data Migration - Scope: Import approximately 18 months of historical records, primarily focusing on transactional data and payroll journal summaries. - Source Data: We will provide the historical data in 3 Excel files (already exported from Sage 50). You will aid in loading this data into Dynamics 365 Finance, ensuring proper dating and categorization of all opening balances and transactions. - Reconciliation: Perform comprehensive, auditable reconciliation checks between the final Sage 50 reports and the imported Dynamics 365 balances to guarantee zero data loss and absolute accuracy post-migration. 2. Functional Setup Context: We are a largely remote business and therefore require automation of entries into the ledgers in the first instance, and the ability to track invoices or expenses through an approval process – confirming the expense as a valid business expense for services received or goods received, from the correct counterparty and for the correct amount. This needs to be done within the “system” with approvals “signatures” noted electronically within approval limits. - Accounts Payable (Invoice Management): We require a simple, lightweight approach to handle invoices for services subscribed to or products purchased. - Email Ingestion: Setup must include a workflow where invoices sent to a specific company email address are ingested/handled within Dynamics 365. - Employee Approval & Audit: We need a way for employees to either enter items (for expected invoices) or approve invoices that have come in. This must include a simple audit process to track exactly who entered or approved the expense. - Employee Expenses: Configure the Expense Management module (or appropriate workflow) to allow team members to easily upload and submit expense claims for approval Each of these categories can be served by an add-in or configuration of the stand Prerequisites - Proven experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance implementation and data migration. - Strong knowledge of Sage 50 structures to understand the source data. - Ability to configure email-to-invoice workflows (via standard D365 features, OCR, or Power Automate). Timeline - We are able to have a call to go over the requirements/deliverables if required. - Please provide an outline of your proposal to fulfil the requirements outlined above and an estimated timeline for the full process (Migration + AP/Expense Setup). e.g., 1-4 Days, 1 week.
a month ago23 proposalsRemoteGame Layout Artists to visual facelift a card game prototype
I am seeking a Dextrous-proficient designer (or an experienced board game enthusiast with high-end aesthetic taste) to provide a professional visual facelift for a deck of training cards. The deck is aimed to be used as an exercise for process improvement and project management trainings. The project is currently in a "Functional Prototype" stage. All logic, mechanics, images, and text have been finalized within Dextrous. However, the current layout uses basic rectangular text zones, standard borders, and lacks the "premium aesthetic" required to engage training participants. I am NOT looking for image generation, content writing, or game mechanical changes. I need you to take the existing amateurish "raw" content and make it look elegant, sophisticated and professional. Specific Requirements: - Dextrous Expertise: You must be comfortable working within the Dextrous.com layout engine (managing layers, style inheritance, and dynamic text). - The "Board Game" Eye: You don’t need a degree in design, but you must understand what makes a "good-looking" card. You should have experience playing or handling modern, high-quality board games (e.g., Everdell, Scythe, Love Letter, Berserk, Libertalia or high-end TCGs). - Managing Density: These cards are text-heavy by design. The challenge is to make/keep this text readable and inviting without cutting a single word. This is an educational tool, not a commercial product. - Discretion & Confidentiality: The content of these cards represents internal corporate training methodology and specific process "pain points." As a requirement, the successful candidate must exercise absolute discretion. This means the specific text, data, and internal terminology used in the deck must be treated as confidential and may not be shared, reproduced, or featured in public portfolios or case studies without explicit written consent. Key Deliverable: template modernization. Redesign the base Layout of the 2 most common cards in Dextrous. With your skills it shouldn't take more than an hour. Maybe another hour to fully grasp the concept and to do some follow up changes This is a non-commercial, educational project aimed at improving the way professionals learn to solve problems. If you love board game design and have a "minimalist/pro" style, this is a clean, structured project with all content ready to go.

a month ago33 proposalsRemoteDigital Marketing Partner for Our Start-up
i-Thrive Well-Being is seeking an experienced UK-based digital marketing and growth partner to work alongside us in a practical, iterative support model. As a growing start-up brand, part of the challenge is building awareness that i-Thrive exists, particularly within our local catchment and among clearly defined audiences. At the same time, the business must generate enquiries, qualified leads, and—critically—confirmed bookings to support sustainable growth. Rather than a linear “audit → wait → implement” approach, this engagement blends fact-based performance review, rapid implementation of clear quick wins, and concurrent strategy development across paid advertising, organic social media, lead generation, and local SEO. This is a hands-on collaboration, not a reporting-only exercise. ________________________________________ Commercial Principle (Important) Paid Digital Advertising = ROI in Bookings For paid digital advertising, the primary and non-negotiable output is return on investment in bookings. Brand awareness, traffic, and lead volume are supporting indicators, but paid media success is judged on cost per booking, booking volume, and revenue impact, not impressions or clicks alone. ________________________________________ How We Expect the Engagement to Work From the outset, the partner will be expected to: • Rapidly assess current performance across paid ads, organic social, website, and local search • Implement immediate improvements to enquiry, lead, and booking flow • Improve clarity of messaging so audiences understand who we are, what we do, and who we are for • Refine targeting, structure, and creative based on observed response • Build a clear growth strategy informed by what actually converts This mirrors how i-Thrive works with its own clients: measure → interpret → act → review ________________________________________ About i-Thrive i-Thrive Well-Being is a UK-based health, wellbeing, and performance business combining evidence-led diagnostics with structured coaching and behaviour change. We work across four domains: • Healthspan, longevity & metabolic health • Sports performance & endurance • Menopause & midlife health • Executive & workplace performance Our approach is underpinned by a proprietary 5-Dimensional Model of Thriving (movement, nutrition, sleep, psychological wellbeing, purpose & lifestyle). We operate between healthcare and wellness in a high-trust, evidence-based space. ________________________________________ What We Do Diagnostics & Measurement DEXA body composition and bone health, VO₂ max, RMR, lactate testing, metabolic and performance profiling — used to inform decisions, not just generate reports. Coaching & Application One-to-one coaching and structured programmes across longevity, menopause, sports performance, and executive performance. Marketing must attract clients who value measured insight and coached behaviour change, not quick fixes. ________________________________________ Physical Presence We operate from a physical testing and consultation facility in Surrey, serving Surrey, Hampshire, Berkshire, and West Sussex. Local visibility, Google “near me” searches, and reputation are commercially critical. ________________________________________ Scope of Support 1. Paid Digital Advertising (Google & Meta) Primary objective: bookings with clear ROAS Includes performance review (spend → enquiries → leads → bookings), conversion tracking validation, campaign optimisation by service line, budget allocation by cost per booking, and ongoing optimisation. 2. Organic Social Media (Audit & Evaluation) Core platforms: Instagram, Facebook Evaluate the strategic importance of TikTok, Threads, and emerging platforms based on whether they materially support awareness, trust, enquiries, or bookings. 3. LinkedIn Launch – Executive & Workplace Performance Evaluate, launch, or reposition LinkedIn for executive audiences, with a clear content strategy aligned to workplace wellbeing, resilience, and sustainable performance. Support B2B conversations and partnerships. 4. Lead Generation & Conversion Optimisation Website, ads, and social → enquiries, leads, bookings. Includes forms, landing pages, lead magnets, Mailchimp journeys, segmentation, and attribution. 5. Local SEO Google Business Profile optimisation, local keyword strategy, reviews, and on-site local SEO to drive qualified local enquiries that convert. ________________________________________ What We’re Looking For • Experience in health, wellbeing, sports performance, menopause, or executive performance • Comfortable working with start-ups or scale-ups • Strong analytical and commercial mindset • Open to a performance-based or hybrid commercial model • Collaborative, transparent working style UK-based preferred | Surrey-based a bonus Please include: • Relevant experience • Examples of similar work • Your approach to balancing brand awareness with booking ROI • Indicative pricing (initial and ongoing)

No agencies and please only apply if you're used to throwing code out from ticket reference branches - we want to be pushing/building multiple times a day in some situations. Please please please do not apply if you're a junior or mid dev - this requires an individual to undergo a steep learning curve and drive the migration to finalisation. Also - the individual needs to work on the project full time until complete - this is not something that can be done in an hour a day.
