I am wanting to research the possibility and potential costs of creating my very own app for my cleaning business. Here is the problem; we have a large number of cleaners all attending a large number of different sites on different days and times - we need a way to keep track of their worked hours to that at the end of the 2 weeks pay period we can see what they have worked and pay them. We have tried other over the counter systems like telephone clocking in systems but found they can be costly per month and do not always work as we want them to. So here is my idea, we create our own company app. - The employee signs up to the app so we have their details (such as name) registered to know 'who' is logging in or out. - When they arrive to a site they go to the app, select the 'location' so where know where they are working and click 'log in' when they are done they simply hit 'log out' or end shift. Now the important part comes where we need to as managers be able to download a report every 2 weeks to show per employee all their clock in and outs and a total number of hours. So is this doable at an affordable price? I want this app to be something we can evolve for example it could become our entier HR hub like 'requesting holidays' or 'updating personal information'.
