TripAdvisor metasearch advertising API integration
VENDOR REQUIREMENTS: We will only work with a vendor who has prior experience on TripAdvisor meta campaigns via their advertising API. Note this is different from the review service and TripAdvisor's content API (this experience will NOT count) - this is about putting ads on TripAdvisor, not pulling info from the platform. This is an absolute, non-negotiable MUST. If you cannot provide proof of having done dev work on TripAdvisor Metasearch campaign setup. We will be checking your credentials with our TripAdvisor account manager, so please don't waste time if you haven't got the required creds. PROJECT DESCRIPTION We want to advertise on TripAdvisor programmatically by interfacing into their meta campaigns API. It can be a basic interface (where we access sheets and modify information inside the sheet). Most important is that the functionality is there. We need the following features: -Manage list of hotels to be advertised (add/remove hotels) -Ability to view the main KPIs (spend, clicks, revenue, number of sales) per hotel and per Business Units -Ability to manage bids (bid strategy such as PNB or other bidding, adjust bid amounts at the resort level, and budget cap at the market level) Note that we want to be able to manage the level according to this structure. Each BU is a Business Unit, comprising several countries (=Market). A market is where a sale happens, not where a resort is based in (so one hotel will belong to all the markets, because one hotel can be sold from anywhere else in the world). Bidding can happen at the Hotel level, but we want to be able to put a bid cap at the "Market" level : Bidding needs to be able to be switched between all the different options offered by TripAdvisor. We need to be able to switch between all the bidding methods available (currently set on PNB, but we should be able to move to a different method within the interface) Currently, we are advertising on TripAdvisor, but via a Third Party. We have access to the files used by that third-party to update the ads, which will be shared with the developers when the project start. Conversion tracking Must also ensure we implement conversion tracking (so we know when a conversion has come from TripAdvisor). PLATFORM SPECS The solution will need to be hosted in Google Cloud Platform. It will need to have a simple interface to allow our team to adjust bids and budgets. We have some infrastructure in place already, which can be adapted, though details about this will only be shared with the selected vendor - for your proposal assume you were starting from scratch.
