On January 31, 2024 I received a permit from the Air Permits Division of the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality to produce green liquid hydrogen in Hudspeth County, Texas near Dell City, Texas and to build a pilot plant up to 3MW to produce green liquid hydrogen. Through this project my goal is to test three (3) AEM Nexus 1000 Enapter electrolyzers. Therefore, I'd like to test: 1. The technical specifications of these electrolyzers 2. The cost of maintenance 3. The market for green liquid hydrogen in the United States 4. The efficiency to produce green liquid hydrogen at Dell City, Texas by using these electrolyzers Why Dell City, Texas? Because in the 1940s an oil prospector discovered water in that area which is now known as the Bone Spring-Victorio Peak Aquifer. It is desert there and Dell City, Texas has plenty of sun, good winds, and water underground. It is a perfect place to produce an enormous quantity of green liquid hydrogen there. Why the AEM Nexus 1000? Because in the technical specifications of this electrolyzer I found something interesting, "Operational flexibility: 3% - 100% Of nominal H2 flow rate". Those who designed this electrolyzer understand how an off grid green power plant which is built with solar panels and wind turbines is producing the electricity. We know that this kind of off grid power plants is producing fluctuant power during the day and the night based on how the sun is shining and the wind is blowing. The computer and the software of this electrolyzer is reading the power in the grid and it is adapting the operational capacity based on how the power is in the micro grid. There is no risk to stop and to start this electrolyzer. This project has three rooms: the Electrolyzer Room, the Electrical Room, and the Mechanical Room. On the south part of the building is a covered parking area for three (3) RVs in which I will live with my workers and my visitors. I lift up the entire facility with 5 feet from the ground because in these days we can have a flood anywhere because of climate change. Each electrolyzer is 52.5 feet x 9.8 feet x 24 feet (L x W x H) and its weight is 40 tons. The roof is the ceiling of the Electrolyzer Room, it is covered with solar shingles and has on top 20 vertical axis wind turbines of 30kW 220V each. Also, all the roofs of this facility are covered with solar shingles. On the south side of the facility will be built the power plant with solar panels and horizontal axis wind turbines of 100kW three-phase AC 220V. The framing of the solar panels will be lifted up with a minimum of 4 feet from the ground to protect them from a flood. The company name is Health Square. We are based in London. We need a designer who specialises in illustration/typography/graphic design (who is proficient in adobe suite) to help create an original logo. The design must be modern, elegant, fresh and bold. It should be easily recognisable, dynamic and scalable. It must present well both on digital and in print. Our focus is on the four corners of health: exercise, nutrition, lifestyle and mental wellbeing. This logo is geared towards the western market. Think "quiet luxury". Familiarity with that phrase is important. Researching high end/ quiet luxury brand logos that fall into that category is a must. Also, other high-end fitness brands too i.e.Lululemon. There are no colour type restrictions (a singular colour in the right shade or black ) -however, you should consider how colours such as red are viewed by those who are colour blind. The logo can be full font i.e. the full name of the company or abbreviated (so attention to typography is needed and/or font and illustration). We would like to see the design process and would like you as the designer to present 4 ideas/concepts that fit in with the brand ethos and from there there will be a discussion on which idea we would like you to proceed with. Create a brand name and logo for a pet product
I am looking for somebody to help me create a brand name and logo for animal bedding. I can handle the value proposition messaging and have included the key points of that below to help inform your deliverable. I'm happy to jump on a call to discuss any of these items further. At this point, I am running an experiment with this product. So I am looking for a solution that can be completed with a relatively quick turnaround. About the product: The animal bedding is "wood fiber". Essentially, we take wood chips and put them through a pressure cooker to create a fluffy material that can be stuffed into fabric pillow cases or placed loose into a tank for a small rodent, rabbit, or reptile. For this iteration of the product, I would like to focus on presenting the material to the consumer in a bag for use in an animal tank. I will explore the pillow product concept separately. Wood fiber is different from small wood chips that are commonly used in this market. Take a look at the attached picture and compare this to any of the small animal bedding materials on Chewy or Amazon and you will see the difference. When compared to other wood based animal bedding material, this product exhibit the following features/benefits: 1. Better water absorption - this material is drier than wood chips and other wood products and it has a much higher surface area to bond to the water. 2. Less odor - because it is pulling so much water out of the under animal mix, there is less water in the animal's container to give off an odor. 3. Easier to burrow - the smaller geometry of the wood fiber demands less force from the animal to create a hole. When compared to wood or gravel allows for more material "bridging" creating more stable holes for animals to remain undisturbed while burrowed. 4. Much softer than any other wood product on the market making it truly the most comfortable natural substrate available. I like to think of it as the natural "memory foam" mattress for your pet. Once compact, it will form to the weight placed on it, but also bounce back like a foam mattress. Note, eventually, as the product becomes wetter, it will begin to lose shape and not bounce back. Presumably the animal owner should/would change out the bedding at this point anyway. 5. The product is OMRI certified (organic). However I am not certain that we can advertise that OMRI certified for this use without getting another certificate - TBD. Nonetheless, it contains no chemicals, dyes, etc. Completely natural and organic. 6. Our proprietary production process renders the product completely inert. I'm not sure what the threshold is for a sustainable material however, if users compost this material or use it as a growing media for plants or in a garden, the carbon can be returned to the Earth and the carbon impact is quite minimal. This is certainly a better alternative to larger wood chips (because they contain more water and thus unnecessary weight in transport = larger carbon footprint), and a better alternative to stone/gravel and artificial materials. I only share this to the extent that it helps inform your design. I am not prepared to advertise along these lines as I don't want to distract from the other benefits of the product. We are a recycling company that produces this material and is primarily used for a different purpose. However, I think this is a great secondary use for the material and I want to test it by first selling direct to the consumer on Amazon. I have laid the foundation to set up an Amazon store. I need a name and a logo that will work well for e-commerce. I have some flexibility on packaging, size, and price point. But for now, please submit a logo that is suitable to go on an adhesive label that would go on a clear plastic zip-lock bag, clear plastic shrink wrapped film, or kraft resealable side gusset bag (coffee ground bag). When looking at Chewy or Amazon, you will see that most other products are packaged in one of these ways. For purposes of speed, I plan to put labels on these bags. If the product gets traction, we can explore other packaging solutions. I am simply looking for a name and a logo. Logo should work well for e-commerce and I will need a file that will work well for a standard label size (you determine size). Feel free to submit several names and logos as part of the deliverable if you think it would be constructive. Note - the material is made from pine trees and I am told by early users of this product that certain snakes are possibly repelled by pine.
