I need a one-page website replicating on Squarespace
We're buying a business, due to complete on 1 July (therefore the absolute deadline for this task) and it comes with a website. The site isn't currently built on Squarespace but we'd like it to be, so that we can make changes to it ourselves without bothering our SEO people who would otherwise be the ones we'd ask. I can't give the domain of the site out at this stage as it's confidential until completion - but of course I will supply this to whomever I end up working with. For now, I asked Grok to summarise the site, for your information: - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Word count target: Approximately 650-750 words of main body copy (excluding headings, CTAs, and testimonials). The content is straightforward, professional, and benefit-focused, with a warm, approachable tone. Number of graphics: Very low — likely 2-4 total visual elements (including logo). The site is extremely minimalistic and text-heavy. KEY STRUCTURAL FACTS - Homepage layout: Single long-scrolling page (one-page site structure). No complex multi-page navigation. - Header/Navigation: Simple top header with business name/logo and basic menu (Home, Services, About, Contact). - Clean design with no mega-menus or dropdowns. - Hero Section: Prominent headline with a subheadline and clear "Get in Touch" call-to-action button. Minimal or no background image. MAIN SECTIONS (in order) - About / Introduction - Company overview, years in business, family-run background, local focus, and range of clients from sole traders to larger companies. - Services Broken into 3-4 clear subsections with short descriptions and bullet lists: New Business Support (setup guidance, registrations) Regular / Ongoing Accounting Tasks (payroll, VAT, accounts preparation, etc.) - Additional Services (self-assessment, registered office, specialist reviews) - Testimonials Section titled "What our customers think" — 3-4 short quotes with client names / business types. Contact Includes contact form, phone numbers, full address, and privacy note. - Footer: Basic contact info plus links to Privacy and Cookies policies. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - I don't know how clear the above makes it! But we don't need anything spectacular in terms of SEO or anything - and images etc can be lifted from the original site. When whoever does this job is doing it, they will be able to basically (which is what we need) copy it. For context, I (an accountant with no creativity or web design skill) would be able to do this on Squarespace in probably half a day, so hopefully what I'm asking for is nice and simple for someone who uses it anyway. As always when I post a job on here, the budget is purely to be able to submit the job - it has no relation to what I'm expecting to pay (which may be higher or lower!). Thanks

We're Axenara, a web studio that works across hosting, design, development, and consultancy. We host websites, build websites and apps, advise on web services, and manage them once they're live. We also do work for streamers and content creators, and we're heading toward releasing our own web apps based on some of the internal apps we built for ourselves. Our clients range from individuals and creators to small businesses and larger companies. We're rebranding from scratch, alongside rebuilding our web services, and looking for a designer to shape the whole identity with us. The core idea is that Axenara takes the hard parts of the internet off our clients' hands, so they can focus on what they do best. We want a brand that feels warm but capable, modern but not trend-chasing, confident without shouting. The closest reference point is Monzo. They took a category (banking) that everyone assumed had to be cold and corporate, and made it feel human and likeable. The hosting and web services category has the same problem, full of identical blue-and-grey companies, and we want to do for it what Monzo did for banking. Stripe, Linear, and Notion all live in the same neighbourhood as what we're after. The most important part of this brief is how the brand is structured. The model we want to follow is Atlassian. Atlassian have one parent brand (the word Atlassian and its mark) and a family of product brands underneath it: Jira, Confluence, Trello, Bitbucket, Statuspage, and so on. Each product has its own logo, its own colour, its own identity, but they all feel unmistakably like siblings. That family resemblance comes from a small set of rules they've defined internally: every product wordmark is set in the same custom typeface, every product icon follows the same construction language (flat geometric shapes, two or three colours, no gradients or effects), every product owns one colour drawn from a shared palette, and the parent brand has its own colour and stays quiet in product contexts so it doesn't compete with the product. That set of rules is the most important thing we need from you. The Axenara parent brand designed properly, yes, but underneath it a written, named system that says exactly what makes something a member of the Axenara family. Something like "all product wordmarks are set in [X]," "all product icons are built using [Y] construction approach," "all product colours are drawn from [this palette]," "the parent appears at [this scale] relative to the product in lockups." To prove the system works, we'd love to see a couple of concepts for example products: our hosting service, our web development arm, and one of our SaaS tools called ChangeFlow. These are real products that exist or are about to exist, but the brand concepts are demonstrations of how your system applies, not finished product brands. We expect to refine them later or design more products inside the same rules ourselves. A few hard constraints. No blue (the whole category defaults to it and we want out). No generic tech imagery, clouds, servers, globes, swooshes, circuit lines. Beyond that we're genuinely open, and we'd rather see something unexpected than something safe. We're looking for the full parent identity (Axenara logo, variants, colour, typography), a written system of rules that defines how product brands are built underneath it (the typeface, the shape language, the colour palette, the parent-product hierarchy), and demonstration concepts for two or three example products (hosting, web development, ChangeFlow) to show the system in use. It doesn't have to be formal brand guidelines, but the rules need to be explicit enough that we can build the next product's brand ourselves and have it sit comfortably alongside the others. Timeline is flexible, we'd rather get it right than rush. Please share your portfolio, your process, and any ideas you have. We're especially interested in hearing what caught your eye about the brief, or where your instinct would take it. Looking forward to hearing from you.

I am looking for an established WordPress freelancer to help me with a few functionality and design changes on my website. Part 1: Elementor Pro Replacement My site is currently running on an expired Elementor Pro license. I will not be renewing this license. I need you to safely remove the Pro dependency and replace the Pro features (specifically the header, sticky menu, mobile menu, and contact form) with reliable, free plugin alternatives. You will need to rebuild or adjust these elements to ensure they function perfectly without the Pro license. Part 2: UI/UX Alterations (Please note: Additional CSS was previously used to make changes to the site.) - Header/Menu:** Create a fade or shrinking effect on the logo as users scroll. - Sticky Menu: Add a solid background effect on the menu upon scrolling (it currently blends into the header and is hard to read). - Mobile Menu: Fix the mobile menu button (currently unresponsive, likely tied to the Pro license issue). - Dynamic Tags: The headers are currently using dynamic tags, making them very difficult for me to edit. I would like this undone and replaced with a standard setup so I can easily change text myself in the future. - Image Optimization: The home page hero image is too large and slowing down page load speeds; please optimize it. - Contact Form: The form is currently broken. Please replace it with a free alternative (e.g., WPForms, Contact Form 7) and add a "Your request has been submitted" success message. Part 3: Final Security Diagnostic My website was recently compromised by a Japanese Keyword/Spam injection. I have already performed the cleanup myself (deleted unauthorized users, removed spam text) and ran diagnostics that came back with a clean bill of health. However, as part of this job, I would like you to run a final diagnostic to flag any underlying issues, broken links, or lingering vulnerabilities I may have missed.
