Video Editor

I am looking for someone to edit our weekly podcasts. They need to have the following skills:
1. Good story telling - we will provide the podcast content on a weekly basis, they then need to pick out the best moments and create 3 - 5 teasers lasting 30 - 50 seconds. They need to select appropriate sound effects or music dependent on what has been said by the guest. Eg if something is sad, then sad music, if funny then funny sound effects or music to suit. Also on occasion include images that reference what is being said by guest. Along with the teaser, the final podcast in full. Currently our podcasts are plain and straightforward, with an intro and outro, no further sound effects or graphics, which we now want to introduce to make our podcasts more engaging. 2. Have good editing skills, ability to use AI and captions where needed. While logos, podcast soundtrack and intro's/outros' and other fixed graphics will be provied, you will need to produce good graphics and animations where needed, to bring more life to the existing style we have. 3.Quick turnaround. You would need to turn around the edits quickly though, to allow for changes, before the full video and teasers go live. Normally within a day or 2
4. You have to have a good command of English, understand social media, SEO and come up with ideas to help each video get maximum social engagement.
There will be other videos to edit too, such as short zoom videos.
You will be editing at least 1 podcast with teasers a week.
Plus occasionally other interview videos.
This is on trial for a month, if the work is good, it will translate into regular monthly work.
