Freelance HR Consultant – Ad Hoc / Overflow Support
We are a growing London commercial cleaning company looking for an experienced UK HR Consultant to provide flexible, ad-hoc support to our management and operations team. We already work with an excellent HR consultant, but as our business continues to grow, we are looking for additional overflow HR support when workloads increase or situations require immediate attention. The work will be varied and could include: Employee relations and HR case management ACAS matters and Early Conciliation Disciplinary, grievance and performance issues Absence and capability management Employment contracts, policies and HR documentation TUPE and restructuring queries Advising management on difficult or sensitive employee situations General UK employment law and operational HR advice Importantly, we are looking for someone who can take ownership and run HR cases from start to finish, supporting our team throughout the process rather than simply providing initial advice. You will work alongside a governance Manager so they may need some initial refresger training too. You will need to be available during normal UK business hours (9am–5pm) and comfortable supporting our team remotely via WhatsApp, telephone and video calls when required. We are particularly looking for a practical problem solver. When an HR issue arises, we want someone who can quickly understand the situation, assess the employment-law and commercial risks, use their initiative and provide a clear route towards resolution by activley taking ownership to close each case with success. We operate within the commercial cleaning and facilities services sector across London, so previous experience within cleaning, facilities management, hospitality or another large frontline/workforce-based environment would be particularly beneficial. This is initially freelance/ad-hoc work, but we are looking to build a trusted, long-term relationship as our business continues to grow. Essential: Strong practical knowledge of UK employment law, employee relations and ACAS procedures. Graphic Designer Required to Refine Existing Company Logo
Minor Property Group is a UK property improvement & maintenance business. We already have an MPG logo and brand direction that we like. We are not looking for a completely new concept. We want an experienced graphic/brand designer to professionally review and refine the existing design. We'd like improvements considered around proportions, geometry, spacing, typography, balance and overall professional finish, while retaining the existing MPG identity. Our main brand colour is RAL 3020 Traffic Red / #CC0605, and our strapline is “Making Properties Great.” The logo needs to work across our website, van, workwear, quotations, signage and social media. Final files should include SVG/EPS/PDF vector artwork, transparent PNGs, colour/black/white versions, versions with & without the strapline, and basic colour/font guidance. Please provide 2–3 examples of relevant branding work, briefly tell us what you would look at improving in our existing logo and why, and provide your fixed-price quotation for the work described above.
