About the role: We are seeking a motivated Fundraising and Partnerships Officer to join our team. Reporting directly to the Global Head of Partnerships, you will be responsible for the expansion of INCO’s global pool of funding, with a strong focus on US-based donors (mainly corporate philanthropy and foundations). Key tasks include market research, identifying and reaching out to potential donors, drafting compelling funding proposals, developing budgets for project proposals, and managing relationships with partners and donors. INCO’s US donors fund INCO’s global work in 50+ countries, as well as domestic programs in key US locations including Atlanta, Chicago, New York and San Francisco. Responsibilities: Market Research: Conduct in-depth research to identify programmatic opportunities and back funding requests with solid data. Analyze market trends, needs, and gaps to align our programs with potential funding sources. Lead Identification: Map out potential donors and funding opportunities, including foundations, corporations, government agencies, and individual philanthropists. Develop and maintain a database of prospective donors. Proposal Redaction: Craft compelling and persuasive funding proposals. Ensure that proposals clearly articulate the impact and value of our programs, align with donor priorities, and meet all submission guidelines. Budget Development: Collaborate with program teams to develop detailed budgets for project proposals. Ensure that budgets are realistic, transparent, and aligned with program objectives. Partnership Management: Respond to inquiries, provide regular updates, and nurture relationships to ensure ongoing support and collaboration. Qualifications: Experience in a fundraising or sales role at an international company. Proven track record of success in securing funding for a project. Evidence of existing relationships with US-based donors and funding networks is a strong asset for this role. Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft compelling and engaging proposals. Ability to communicate effectively with partners and donors from different cultural and organizational backgrounds. Client-first mindset. Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with other teams. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Native-level English is essential. Help With Short Film Fundraising

I recently wrote a BFI-shortlisted script that we are planning to film in March of this year. It will be a short film based on the true story of someone who passed away from addiction; it's not a commercial project but will be used to raise awareness of the dangers of prescription medication and the limited options available for support. We are fully cast/crewed and are launching a Crowdfunder on January 30th to help raise funds for filming. I have a small outreach list of around 80 contacts of organisations, community groups and businesses within my local county, as it's very much a regional story. I need someone to help me expand on this list and also to email out to these contacts letting them know about the Crowdfunder (this is already written and we also have an email account setup). We are running social media campaigns and sending out a press release, but the direct outreach is too much on top and we need some help.
