Project G. Hoffman Green Technology Center (GHGTC)
On January 31, 2024 I received a permit from the Air Permits Division of the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality to produce green liquid hydrogen in Hudspeth County, Texas near Dell City, Texas and to build a pilot plant up to 3MW to produce green liquid hydrogen. Through this project my goal is to test three (3) AEM Nexus 1000 Enapter electrolyzers. Therefore, I'd like to test: 1. The technical specifications of these electrolyzers 2. The cost of maintenance 3. The market for green liquid hydrogen in the United States 4. The efficiency to produce green liquid hydrogen at Dell City, Texas by using these electrolyzers Why Dell City, Texas? Because in the 1940s an oil prospector discovered water in that area which is now known as the Bone Spring-Victorio Peak Aquifer. It is desert there and Dell City, Texas has plenty of sun, good winds, and water underground. It is a perfect place to produce an enormous quantity of green liquid hydrogen there. Why the AEM Nexus 1000? Because in the technical specifications of this electrolyzer I found something interesting, "Operational flexibility: 3% - 100% Of nominal H2 flow rate". Those who designed this electrolyzer understand how an off grid green power plant which is built with solar panels and wind turbines is producing the electricity. We know that this kind of off grid power plants is producing fluctuant power during the day and the night based on how the sun is shining and the wind is blowing. The computer and the software of this electrolyzer is reading the power in the grid and it is adapting the operational capacity based on how the power is in the micro grid. There is no risk to stop and to start this electrolyzer. This project has three rooms: the Electrolyzer Room, the Electrical Room, and the Mechanical Room. On the south part of the building is a covered parking area for three (3) RVs in which I will live with my workers and my visitors. I lift up the entire facility with 5 feet from the ground because in these days we can have a flood anywhere because of climate change. Each electrolyzer is 52.5 feet x 9.8 feet x 24 feet (L x W x H) and its weight is 40 tons. The roof is the ceiling of the Electrolyzer Room, it is covered with solar shingles and has on top 20 vertical axis wind turbines of 30kW 220V each. Also, all the roofs of this facility are covered with solar shingles. On the south side of the facility will be built the power plant with solar panels and horizontal axis wind turbines of 100kW three-phase AC 220V. The framing of the solar panels will be lifted up with a minimum of 4 feet from the ground to protect them from a flood. **Project Background I am currently employed in a position of contracted Digital Director at a mid sized UK based charity. My main objective with this project is to drive sign ups to the charities B2C products. One of the core aspects of this project is Google Ads. As my client is a registered charity, they receive an Ad Grant budget from Google. In addition, due to restrictions on the Ad Grant budget we have a cash budget each month used for retargeting adverts and digital display. Over the course of the project, we have encountered two major challenges which are restricting our progress: 1.) Currently we rely on the internal design team to produce our display adverts. They are pretty much at capacity and the creative takes a long time to be delivered. This means that our strategy, which is based on iterative testing of messaging concepts, is restricted. We need our design work quicker! 2.) The bounce rate across our key landing pages from all paid marketing is huge. This is due to the landing pages we have available being standard website pages and not designed for paid marketing. We need help in the creation of custom landing pages. **Project Brief In order to solve our issues we have two key requirements: 1.) Landing Page Creation - Using the landing page builder Unbounce - we are looking for full creation of landing pages on an ongoing basis, according to the requirements of both myself and the PPC contractor. I have a wordpress site I need to add to. I need to create a trading platform for a new market which opens in England next month called Biodiversity Net Gain. When you build a house in England you need to buy "units" of biodiversity if you can't create new biodiversity when you build your new house. On the front page I need the following 4 questions: 1) A person needs to create an account with name, email address login 2) To obtain a price to buy or sell a unit, the member needs to click on a drop down box that will have 13 items. I will put a price in for each item myself. 3) The person need to select a Local Authority in England. There are 317 so we need to type in and the box will detect which authority. This will be optional. You have to buy more units if you are in certain areas. Alternatively the person could click on a map (see attached google map of all England's Local Authorities. 4) The person is asked to enter another area called NCA. There are 159 so we need to type in and the box will detect which NCA. This will be optional. The result will then bring up two boxes with a price in it based on (2) above which I will set in advance. Depending on the entry to (3) and (4) above, a note will say they need to buy 33% or 100% more BNG units as they are outside of the area. I need to be able to regularly change which Local Authorities need extra units.
