We design and manufacture street furniture in the UK and we're getting an increasing number of enquiries about integrated USB charging in benches/tables/totems etc. This is a very popular thing in Europe (hence this example from a Czech manufacturer https://www.mmcite.com/en/woody-scorpio). No one's really nailed it in this country and our requests are all for, very simply, 1 or 2 USB/USB-C charge-only ports in our products. Mechanically speaking we can do this but need the electrical side designing to be robust, safe and cost-effective.
