I am working with this short piece of voice audio (2min30sec) for a local community river project. The narration audio I've been given is just really noisy and has a lot of sibilance. I'm more of a visual person with very little audio training. I tried to add Crumplepop Denoiser and Deesser effects but they just end up too distorted... I just need this audio to be clean and useable, not distorted, not noisy, and to make these S's way less harsh. Please have a listen to the audio in question before putting in your offer. The sample is MP3 for size reasons, but I can send you the larger WAV file once the offer is accepted. Thanks so much! :-)

Content Researcher/Producer for Horror & Mystery YouTube Channel
Horror / Mystery YouTube Content Researcher & Video Editor I run a growing YouTube channel focused on disturbing stories, internet mysteries, rabbit holes, unexplained events, and unsettling corners of the internet. The style is inspired by creators like Nexpo, Nick Crowley, and Farrell McGuire. Atmospheric, story-driven videos that explore strange and often disturbing real-life or internet-based mysteries. I’m looking for someone who can become a long-term creative partner and help me with the full content creation process, from finding ideas, to researching them, and eventually turning them into finished videos. How the collaboration works (3-step workflow) The process is split into three stages so everything is clear and structured. 1. Finding content Your main job at the start is to actively search for interesting stories, mysteries, and rabbit holes that could work as YouTube videos. This can come from Reddit (subreddits like r/rabbitholes, r/creepyencounters, r/confessions, r/letsnotmeet, etc.), but also from anywhere else on the internet, YouTube, TikTok, X/Twitter, forums, blogs, or even obscure archived content. A big part of this stage is curiosity and digging deeper. For example, you might find a strange Reddit post and then explore the user’s profile to uncover a pattern or a deeper story. Or you might come across a mention of a weird TikTok or YouTube channel and then use tools like the Wayback Machine or other archives to uncover more context. Sometimes even platforms like 4chan, Telegram, or niche communities can lead to very interesting material. The goal is not just to find “creepy posts,” but to identify stories with real narrative potential, things that make you think: “There is something deeper here worth exploring.” 2. Full video script and research package (done by you) Once you find a story that feels worth developing, you will create a structured research document that breaks everything down clearly so I can turn it into a narration. This should include a summary of what the story is about, who is involved if relevant, what might have happened, and how the situation develops. Include interesting details or clues, possible theories, unanswered questions, and anything that adds depth or mystery to the story. Then collect and organize all relevant materials from the story. Screenshots, posts, images, videos, links, or anything else important, and place them in a shared folder. This helps me fully understand the story and build the final script and narration around it. I will create the final script and the narration myself and polish it to be high quality and clear. Then I will send it to you. 3. Video editing After I record the narration, I will send it to you. I need your help with the video editing. You can use any app you want and you should own a laptop or computer. This includes combining the narration with the visuals you previously collected, along with any additional b-roll or supporting material needed to enhance the story. The editing style should be clean, atmospheric, and immersive using things like subtle motion, dark tones, static effects, gradients, and simple visual layering to support the narrative. The editing is minimal. I need a smooth, cinematic flow that matches the style of channels like Nexpo or Nick Crowley where the editing enhances the story without distracting from it. About AI use I have no problem if you use AI in your workflow. I will also use it. The only problem is if you let it take over your creativity and skills. Use it as a tool, not as a replacement for your abilities and work. Compensation The channel is not monetized and I am paying for everything from my pocket. Therefore, right now the payment for a completed video is $10. The editing is minimal and should not take very long, with the focus being on the story itself. After I monetize the channel, I intend to increase the compensation and make this a permanent position. What I’m looking for Ideally, you should be someone who enjoys going down internet rabbit holes, has strong research instincts, and understands what makes a story interesting for YouTube. You should also be comfortable working independently, thinking creatively, and identifying hidden narrative potential in online content. Experience can be entry level. More important are your problem solving skills and how you think. To apply Please send me: A short introduction about yourself Your relevant experience If you enjoy discovering strange, unsettling corners of the internet and turning them into immersive video experiences, I’d love to hear from you.
Audio Fixing - Denoiser, Deesser type job
I'm working with a short piece of audio (2min30sec) for community river education piece about our local river history and something funny is happening with the audio on these narration snippets I've been given - just noisy and too much sibilance. I've tried the standard Denoiser & Deesser that comes with FCPx but I feel like these tools distort the audio too much... I just want it cleaned up. I'm more of a visual artist than an audio expert and I just have not been able to get it clean without distortion. I have a feeling this is the kind of thing that someone with an ear & experience repairing audio will be able to fix quite easily. Please have a listen to the audio in question before bidding on the project. PPH has a file size limit, so just uploading MP3 for sample but will send you .WAV once offer is accepted. Thanks so much!

Book Marketer for Dystopian Sci-Fi Novel – Strategy + Execution
Hi, I’m Mikhail, I’m looking for a book marketer who can build and [IMPORTANT] execute a promotional strategy for my debut novel. I’m open to any approach that makes sense for the book. What I need is someone who understands the book’s positioning and can recommend the right channels, not just run one playbook. The book is ‘Android Against Moscow’, published on Amazon (Kindle, paperback, hardcover). It’s set in a near-future authoritarian Russia and follows an elderly theatre scholar and his domestic android as they steal classified evidence of state-sponsored historical falsification and try to escape the country. The genre is dystopian science fiction with political themes. Written by a Russian émigré living in Germany. What didn’t work: I previously ran an email outreach campaign that sent roughly 5500 emails to a broad list (poorly targeted?). The open rate was above 40%, but no purchases or reviews followed. Several contacts turned out to be genre mismatches – horror reviewers, psychological thriller bloggers – people who were never going to connect with this book. I don’t want to repeat that approach. What I already have: A published book. Some audiobook chapters. A prologue video on my YouTube channel. Graphics. What I need is someone who knows what to do with all this stuff. https://www.amazon.com/Android-Against-Moscow-T-Woods/dp/B0GYYZFBQ5 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rh45nAewfjU About the book’s audience: I’m not an expert, but this is probably not mainstream commercial fiction. AI says that the readers who’d love this book are people who read Zamyatin, Orwell, Huxley, Philip K. Dick, Kazuo Ishiguro’s ‘Never Let Me Go’. They care about surveillance, AI consciousness, authoritarianism, and what happens to individuals caught inside political machinery. The marketing needs to find those readers specifically, not cast a wide net and hope. One more thing: the androids are inspired by the game ‘Detroit: Become Human’. I changed the shape of those LEDs, but the Detroit fans will immediately recognise them. But Kara’s story is totally different from Dasha’s. In your proposal, please tell me: What strategy would you recommend for a book with this profile, and why? What channels would you prioritise? Whether you’ve marketed books outside mainstream American commercial fiction, particularly anything with international, European or Russian themes. How you handle reporting and communication. How you structure your pricing. Budget is negotiable. I’d rather invest in a focused strategy that reaches the right readers than pay for volume that reaches no one. I realise that you don’t have time to read all the works. Feel free to ask for a review copy. You may feed it to AI (Claude and Gemini are the most practical helpers in this regard), and I’ll tell you what the machine got right.
Audiobook Proof Listening
I am looking for Audiobook Proof Listeners (preferably UK Based or +1 -1hrs for timezone & efficiency reasons) as long as English is the 1st language I pay £15 per finished hour (based on the finished length of the title) which is fairly typical, its a case of listening to the audio, catching errors and obvious noises and noting them down with a timing within the chapter, a description of error and the page and line from top / fb number, usually fiction, there are occasions for another proof however I would usually want a fresh pair of ears for a 2nd run, accuracy is very important narrator, producer & editor will also have ears on the audio, but the fresh ears of a an audiobook proof listener is very important, especially for fiction reads, there is an element of swings and roundabouts with it, sometimes its a nice easy job with few errors, sometimes harder ones but typically balances out, typically our regular narrators are professional and many are audiofile magazine golden voices (now Kirkus) I am looking for people with experience, and reliable at meeting deadlines as work is flowing as usual, and can hit the ground running, work is regular but flexible and a good fit if you have an interest in books and have extra hours to fill in a day I have editors at the moment, so unfortunately I have no extra capacity in that respect

We require a narrated animation to explain an industrial process. I have no graphics to supply so each element will have to be drawn from explainer photographs or diagrams. The whole animation needs to suggest a very controlled industrial environment. The animation will show a patented machine using sound waves to interface with and clean and clear graphite build up. Below is what we wish to achieve visually as a minimum 1. Our Company Logo on screen for approx 5 seconds 2. Images of sound waves working their magic - approx 10 seconds. 3. An image of our machine with a lance/hose attached (machine made to look a little more modern) - approx 10 seconds. 4. An image of a graphite stack and bricks being removed piece by piece - 10 seconds 5. An image of the nano microwaves (basically the same as above butmore of them/ working faster) The 45 second narration we wish to have his below. 'Amaryllis captures trapped value enabling graphite to be reclaimed. Our patented acoustic cleaning apparatus deploys multiple, low-frequency sound waves, avoiding all greenhouse gases, carbon and water. We deliver safely and with zero hours of operating failure. We have developed a floating extraction method which can remove graphite blocks, vastly improving cost and performance. Our system breaks the blocks through fluidisation, allowing the graphite to slide out using the correct frequencies and harmonics.
