A temporary opportunity has come up to manage our social media pages for PeoplePerHour while we search for a permanent Content & Community Manager. This will be an ongoing project until we find the right person. We are looking for our freelancer to start on 30 May if possible. This will require around 10-15 hours a week. The role will involve: - Plan and post social media content. - Manage daily engagement / community management -- keep on top of comments and questions, and appropriately redirect or escalate complaints to customer support team. - Use AgoraPulse to manage data/reporting/publishing and engagement. - Boost social posts where necessary. - Maintain integrity of social channels -- Always promote a positive message and stay on brand. - Liaise with all guest bloggers, respond to enquiries and ensure content/brand/blog guidelines are met. Push back to guest bloggers when needed. Keep on top of blog guidelines and update regularly to reflect the needs of the blog. - Liaise with SEO team on ALL blog content. Make sure every post has a ‘green’ SEO score. - Edit (sometimes heavily) guest blogger content while keeping the integrity of the post and publish/schedule on WordPress. - - - Try to publish every post that guest authors have taken the time to write (within reason!) - Write and publish blog content as it relates to brand, competitions, platform announcements, or specific campaigns. All proposals must be able to demonstrate previous experience of managing a content calendar for blog and social media pages. An excellent level of written English is required for this role.
