WHAT IT IS: • Woocommerce site selling PDF knitting patterns - 8 products only • 8 pages, 12 images (supplied) • PDF download for purchase • clear listing of all products (patterns) as individual pages so customers can find out more about each one • Best Sellers highlighted on the homepage automatically • blending in Instagram feed into the homepage so returning customers will see regular updates and posts • link to My Story page to share how client got into this and the experience behind the patterns • How To / Help page to give links to existing YouTube videos to give extra guidance on getting the best results, as well as links to existing popular Facebook Community to encourage customers to connect with and support each other • easy 1, 2, 3 step guide to how to choose and buy patterns, as well as "people who bought this also bought..." to encourage customers to consider additional products with their purchase • Payment through PayPal business account (so credit card enabled) WHAT IT ISN'T: • Complex ecommerce such as multi-buy discounts / “pay X for free shipping” / related products / etc • Selling outside UK • Physical products (no P&P or delivery configuration required Project communication will be managed via Slack and Asana so familiarity with these is a distinct advantage, as is the ability to follow written process and clear communication. Talking heads editor
I am looking for a video editor who can take my raw footage and edit so that I create a digital course. I am looking for a professional finish. I am currently filming the project and estimate there will be approximately 40 videos to edit. Some will be around 10 minutes long and others around 5. The course is aimed at individuals who are looking to understand breastfeeding and how to do it. It is largely talking head. In some videos a doll is used for demonstration and knitted breasts. The videos will require splash screens at the start and finish of each of them. Some videos are shot with a teleprompter but it may be necessary to remove errors within the footage and improve speech with removal of 'ums'. In some videos I would like to have images shown as either full screen or picture in picture. In some I will require a list shown on the side of the screen whilst keeping me full screen. As a lot of the footage is talking head I would also like interest to be added such as cut in, cut out and other interest features in post production. I am initially keen to work with a freelancer on a small number of the videos. I will then film more and provide additional footage. I am interested to receive your proposals and would be keen to understand the software you intend to use and also the information you would need me to submit to you to complete each video.
Video editing and knitting together
I seek an experienced video editor to craft a one-minute marketing film from various film clips and a provided script. The final product will showcase our business and products in a cohesive and engaging manner. Several film clips of varying lengths need to be carefully stitched together totell a compelling story within the tight timeframe. Transitions between scenes require creativity and finesse to maintain a smooth visual flow. Gaps remaining after assembly must be addressed by sourcing and incorporating supplemental footage to minimise discontinuity. The chosen editor will have liberty to implement minor alterations to the script if needed to optimise the narrative structure and pace. Candidate must possess advanced skills with video editing software to seamlessly merge videos, add titles/captions, refine audio levels and apply other post-production techniques. Examples of previous one-minute compilations from disparate elements would be valuable to evaluate technical and artistic abilities. Strong communication is essential as I will provide feedback during the process to ensure the final cut aligns with our objectives.

I like the idea this further expands the mantra of the brand to 'walk a wild life'. They value authenticity, simplicity, and the raw beauty of the natural world. They are people who find joy in camping under the stars, cooking over a campfire, and crafting with their hands. One idea I have had is using footprints to illustrate 'walking wild' but that is not a firm suggestion, just a potential idea. I am not creating a hiking brand and so do not want there to be any confusion there. Colors: Earthy tones such as deep greens, browns, and muted blues. A palette that evokes the natural world – think forest, sky, soil, and stone. Usage: The logo will be used across my website, social media, merchandise, on business cards etc. It should be versatile enough to look good in both full color and black-and-white versions. Deliverables: Initial suggestion of a minimum of five logos. Further work to then take on feedback and refine one of those ideas. Final copy of a high res primary logo. Variations that work on different backgrounds (dark, light, transparent). A favicon for website use.
