Description
Experience Level: Expert
Sorted is a DTC brand making modern 100% organic cotton basics (sweats/tees/joggers). We need a Technical Designer to deliver factory-ready tech packs and clear fit notes for knit fleece/jersey styles.
What you’ll do
Build/update tech packs: graded size charts (XS–XXL) with tolerances, BOM (fabric, rib, thread, labels), and sewing specs (ISO stitch codes, SPI, seam allowances).
Run fit sample cycles (remote): measure against spec (POM deltas), record pass/fail by area, annotate photos, and issue next actions to the factory.
Maintain file hygiene (versioning, change log, PDF exports) and post ≤5-bullet recaps after vendor exchanges.
Collaborate with our PM on priorities/timelines.
Must-have
3+ yrs technical design for knits/jersey (sweats/tees).
Proven grading + tolerance setting; strong BOM and sewing spec knowledge (ISO/SPI).
Excellent written English; clean, factory-ready documentation.
Tools: Adobe Illustrator, Excel/Google Sheets, Google Drive.
How we work
Async, written-first. Simple Monday plan; we approve same day.
Overlap: 2–4 hrs/week with US Central Time for quick clarifications. Fully remote.
