I am looking for an experienced Shopify developer/designer to create a premium contemporary website for an established artist. The website will showcase original artworks and a new collection of personalised lettered resin artworks, which customers can configure and purchase online. The overall appearance should be minimal, contemporary, gallery-led and highly visual, using large photographs of artworks displayed in contemporary interiors. It must work exceptionally well on both desktop and mobile. CUSTOM ARTWORK CONFIGURATOR This is the most important element of the project. Customers need to create their artwork by selecting: 1. Artwork Size * 400 × 400 mm * 500 × 500 mm * 600 × 600 mm Each size will have a different base price. 2. Artwork Colour Choice of predetermined colours, preferably displayed as visual colour swatches. 3. Personalised Words/Phrase Customers enter their own wording. I am looking for someone who can do two things: 1.⁠ ⁠Listen to my product idea and sketch it out clearly. 2.⁠ ⁠Physically build a rough basic model of it, using simple materials if possible. I do not want CAD files, 3D renders, digital images, UX design, branding, or a polished prototype. I need someone who can actually make a simple physical version so I can see whether the idea works in real life. The model does not need to look beautiful. It does not need to be factory-ready. It can be rough, basic, handmade, and made from wood, plastic, card, foam board, 3D printed parts, brackets, hinges, magnets, or whatever simple materials make sense. The important thing is that you can think practically, sketch the idea, and then build a physical proof-of-concept model yourself. I am based in London and would prefer someone I can meet in person first, but I am open to discussing options. I would prefer someone based in London and or near London. I know some designers are like "any designer who is worthwhile makes cad drawings and renders". Back 200 years ago, there were no computers, yet people made things, inventions were still created.
