Freelance B2B Telemarketer - UK Manufacturing Campaign, 15 Days

We’re Myriad, a specialist business supporting companies with R&D tax credits and other government incentives. We’re looking for an individual freelance B2B telemarketer to personally deliver a 15-working-day outbound calling campaign for Energy Relief Vault (ERV). ERV helps UK manufacturers assess their potential eligibility for the British Industrial Competitiveness Scheme (BICS) and access specialist application support relating to electricity cost relief. THE ASSIGNMENT You will call a supplied list of UK manufacturing businesses with 25+ employees, targeting finance directors, CFOs and other relevant senior finance contacts. Your role is to: • Explain the BICS opportunity clearly using our approved briefing. • Establish whether the business is interested in exploring its potential eligibility. • Encourage suitable contacts to book a no-obligation call with one of our specialists to discuss whether their business could qualify, what potential electricity savings might look like and the next steps. Our specialists will handle the technical assessment and subsequent sales process. You will not be expected to establish definitive eligibility, provide technical advice or promise savings. We need someone who enjoys making calls and can represent a professional services business credibly. WE WILL PROVIDE • The prospect list and relevant contact details. • Personalised company assessment pages to support your conversations. • An approved call framework and specialist support. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES • Personally make outbound calls during agreed UK business hours. • Navigate gatekeepers and reach relevant decision-makers. • Explain the opportunity, handle initial objections and arrange callbacks. • Book no-obligation specialist calls with genuinely interested, relevant contacts. • Record accurate call outcomes, notes and next steps. • Provide a daily report covering call attempts, decision-maker conversations, specialist calls booked and feedback. Our initial planning target is around 500 call attempts and 10 qualified specialist calls booked per week. We will review these assumptions against actual contact rates, conversation quality and attendance. PAYMENT AND DURATION • 15 working days over approximately three weeks. • Fixed payment of £750 per week: £2,250 for the full assignment. • Additional bonus of £25 per qualified lead who registers for our platform following a specialist call. • At 30 qualified specialist calls attended, total payment would be £3,000 across the campaign. • Progress review after the first two weeks. Bonus qualification will be based on criteria agreed before the campaign begins and confirmed by Myriad. Duplicate prospects, unsuitable contacts and unattended appointments will not qualify. Definitive BICS eligibility or a completed sale is not required for the bonus. WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR • Proven experience personally delivering B2B cold-calling or telemarketing campaigns. • Confidence speaking with finance directors, business owners and senior decision-makers. • Clear, professional spoken English. • Strong call reporting and follow-up discipline. • Availability to commit the agreed calling hours across the assignment. Experience in professional services, accountancy, business funding, manufacturing or business software would be useful. We are seeking an individual freelancer who will personally make the calls.
