Software Testing PHP Based Application

1. Introduction

We are seeking a qualified testing service provider to assist in enhancing our software testing processes for our project. This specification outlines our requirements for both initial Selenium test coverage, ongoing partnership for enhanced testing, and flexible testing services during release cycles.

2. Project Overview

The PHP / Laravel based application is currently an inventory database with some specialist capabilities for IT Network Management and its roadmaps is to work towards becoming a full CMDB solution with advanced data integrity, integration, data visualisation and workflow capabilities.

3. Scope of Work
The scope of work for our testing services requirement includes the following components:
3.1. Initial Selenium Test Coverage
Develop Selenium test scripts to achieve test coverage of approximately 100% for our software application.
Automate functional, regression, and compatibility testing across multiple browsers and devices.
Ensure integration with our CI/CD pipeline for automated test execution on code commits and merges.
3.2. Ongoing Partnership for Enhanced Testing
Provide comprehensive test planning, execution, and reporting for four planned release cycles per year.
Conduct manual User Acceptance Testing (UAT) as part of the release cycle.
Collaborate closely with our development team to identify, prioritize, and resolve issues.

3.3. Pay-as-You-Go Testing Services
Offer flexible, pay-as-you-go testing services during each release cycle.
Provide a range of testing services, including functional testing, regression testing, load testing, and security testing, as required.
Ensure scalability to accommodate varying testing needs for each release.

4. Project Timeline

ASAP and ongoing – confirmation of ability to be responsive to pay as you go requests key.

5. Contract Basis
Fixed price agreement against defined deliverables in Statement of Works for Phase 1. Per hour charging for ongoing release testing.

5.Provider Qualifications
Evidence of completion of successful similar projects including access to case studies and references.

7. Evaluation Criteria
We will evaluate potential providers based on their experience, expertise, proposed approach, references, timeline, and budget.
