Hi!
I am looking for an experienced book cover Designer to design a bold and catchy book cover for a business novel for paperback and e-book.
The title of the book is "Stand Back to Grow" and is a story about transforming a business so that it can work without the owner, giving the owner time and space to think about growth, strategy, vision, etc. It has been co-authored by Jeff Cox, a best-selling author of "The Goal" and many other business novels. It is a fictional story about Bob Bingham who is an overwhelmed business owner without any hope of things changing, with his health deteriorating, family about to fall apart, constantly fire-fighting, being chased by customers, etc. A silent investor Moe nudges Bob to change his mindset, so that his business can grow while gaining more time for himself and sorting out his life. "Stand Back to Grow" is therefore not only about business growth, but also life growth, as it invites business owners to understand, that there is a world and life to live outside of their businesses. At the same time it shows, that a business with the right implementations can grow, because the owner is not longer the bottleneck.
The book will be published via KDP both as paperback and ebook, which means two versions will be required.
As we know, the cover (icon if digital) is often the only thing that sells the book, therefore I am looking for a design that will stand out from the competitive and crowded marketplace.
I don't necessarily have a design in mind, so I am open to suggestions, although it must be catchy.
I have attached the first 5 chapters so that you can get a feel of the style and tone (slightly sarcastic humour).
The book is written in American English, although it will be initially promoted in the UK. I am still making a decision whether it will remain as is or changed to British English. I'm not sure this makes a difference for the cover design, but just throwing it in in case it does make a difference.
At the end of the project I will require the original editable files in case anything needs changing sometime in the future.
If you require more information, the synopsis or anything else, then please let me know.
