I need a UK based Chartered Structural Engineer to check and verify whether the design and drawings comply with the UK Structural Design Engineering best practices The following documents have been enclosed: 1) Architect basic drawings. 2) Structural design calculations. 3) From the ground investigation report t, we also need confirmation whether we can establish and confirm that permissible bearing capacity under the foundation depth will be 100kN/m minimum or less/more. We are happy to keep P.B capacity at 100kN/m even if ground investigation reveals it is higher. Also, just advise on temporary works where front and rear UCs will have old concrete prd foundations at the same time under to ground beam. Also comment that temporary supports LHS/RHS pair of UCs if this is acceptable and temporary beam being installed over the spans of foundation basis full width of 1 Brick party walls and is it good practice or not to remove old concrete foundations if found protruding outside of the party walls. Please advise the landlords consultant reports already indicates the old pad foundations to both front and back UCs were not completed in single pour and they also made issue of the original foundations to party wall was left in when these foundation bases were cast. The complete structural design calculations and structural drawings/details to be checked by a chartered structural Engineer with own indemnity Insurance and point out in writing on letterhead that the complete project scheme including temporary design works are correctly completed to British standard set out for such project. You have checked the documents thoroughly and sort full if any must be relayed to us in writing so we can address this accordingly before your written confirmation. Logo update and refresh
We are currently having to close our gym (due to an insurance claim) and are taking the opportunity to rebrand a little and move from a traditional gym to a studio based gym. Structural Calcs and Building regs - New-Build
I had appointed a structural engineer from PPH however they had made several mistakes. - SB3 Beam blocking access way on the staircase from First Floor to Loft - Made generalisations instead of site specific - i.e. I told him finished floor level would be 150mm below ground level and BCO require waterproofing as a result however he did not acknowledge this. - No mention of concrete strength for foundations - No mention of resin anchor bolts to existing foundations I require new structural calcs and building regs (Part A-S) drawings. I'm looking for a few potential designs to change our existing basic ones. Our product is a lowcode application used by contact centre agents and normally consists of a few pages they visit. Each page can have 1 or more sections. And each section will have 1 or more fields that will be shown or captured. These forms could be for any industry. An Example of a flow for an insurance company renewing a policy could be: Page 1: capture the reason for the customer call as a dropdown Page 2: capture information about the customer such as policy number, name, DOB, address and validate security information is correct. Page 3: capture information about the policy such as car, home, travel then ask further information as required. This is just an example and I am looking for a design that is modern that I can implement as a baseline styling for our application.
