We are looking for a talented, reliable short-form video editor to work with us on an ongoing basis, creating social content for the founder of an established international luxury real estate business. This is not traditional corporate video editing. We are developing a personality-led social presence focused on TikTok and LinkedIn, built around expert opinion, property, business insight, storytelling and nearly five decades of experience in the luxury real estate industry. What we need: We will provide professionally filmed or high-quality raw footage, typically including: Interview-style conversations Off-camera questions and answers Direct-to-camera commentary Property walkthroughs Reactions to property and market news Longer conversations from which multiple short-form videos can be extracted We need an editor who can turn this footage into engaging, polished short-form content, generally between 30 and 90 seconds. You should be confident identifying the strongest hook within raw footage rather than simply editing clips in chronological order. The editing style: We are looking for content that feels: Premium but social-first Fast enough to retain attention without feeling frantic Confident and editorial Natural and personality-led Clean rather than over-produced Think strong opening hooks, intelligent cuts, excellent subtitles, subtle punch-ins, relevant B-roll and graphics where they genuinely add value. We do not want excessive transitions, emojis, gimmicky effects, meme editing or content that feels like someone is trying too hard to “do TikTok”. The personality and expertise of the speaker should remain the focus. Volume: This will be an ongoing requirement and potentially a significant volume of content. We envisage initially producing approximately 12–20 finished short-form videos per month, with the potential to increase this. Speed and consistency are therefore important. We would ideally like to work with someone who can turn around batches of content efficiently rather than treating every 45-second video as a standalone production project.
