2 days ago42 proposalsRemoteUI/UX expert for hands-on work with CSS/jQuery/Highcharts
We are currently rebranding an existing platform and the entire UI/UX needs attention. The application is a .NET SaaS application running on Microsoft Azure. We need help with the following key tasks: - Come up with appropriate colour palette in keeping with the new brand - Design CSS/jQuery/Html components to support all standard inputs such as buttons, menus, popups - Review and improve existing dashboards, analytics and functional pages Existing code base is MVC, using jQuery, jQuery UI, Bootstrap, C# backend, and responsive design. We currently use both chart.js and highcharts although we are leaning towards highcharts as our preferred library for charting. The new design will need to include all colours, layout and general components, as well as loaders, spinners and transitions. We require a hands-on approach, so the deliverables will be working html/css/jQuery. We can either allow full access to the source code (would require someone comfortable with Visual Studio or VS Code) or we can handle the plumbing ourselves. The former is our preferred option. This might lead to longer term engagements for the right person to help us as we continue to develop the platform and it's functionality. Requires both light and dark mode support and will need to be responsive. 2 existing screen grabs are included to give an idea of the current look and feel. This can be a phased project to make it easier: 1. Design colour pallette 2. Design key components 3. Design layout blocks 4. Design transitions 5. Implement CSS/HTML/jQuery changes to bring together into the app It is probably sufficient to deliver for one key area, e.g. analytics, although there may be sub projects for other areas of the platform. The right person will be able to show similar experience to a high standard on public facing web applications, should be creative as well as having solid coding experience in UI/UX. Any experience with C# and MVC is a bonus.

4 days ago33 proposalsRemoteHelp with a math problem: converting square metre price formula
We're looking for someone who can help develop a workable solution to what is essentially a math problem. We sell custom outdoor furniture covers. Our website allows customers to enter their dimensions so we can calculate the number of square metres of material. The retail price is then calculated based on the quantity of square metres of material * price per square metre. This system relies on three inputs (width x depth x height), as long as we have this information then we can calculate the price. We are now looking at selling some of these products on Amazon. Whilst Amazon does support custom products, their customisation options are extremely basic. Their system is really designed for sellers who want to allow customers to add logos to mugs or tshirts (1 logo = £5, 2 logos £9 and so on). There is no way we can set up three inputs as described above, and then use a formula to calculate square meterage of fabric * price per square metre. No way at all. So what does Amazon allow us to do? We can set up drop-down menus with predefined measurements (e.g. 75cm, 76cm, 77cm and so on) and we can assign a price to each of those measurements. In that way, we can have 3 drop-down menus, each with a full list of measurements and prices. The math problem is this: Is there a way we can rework our current price per square metre cost calculation system so that we can make it work within the confines of Amazon's drop-down menus? A successful outcome would mean that the customer is able to select 3 measurements from the 3 Amazon drop-down menus and see a total price that is the same or similar to the output of our current website cost calculation system (based on square meterage of material). I explain the problem in more detail via the below Loom video. https://www.loom.com/share/c29c412b8d254760bb05ffeb3d9b5312?sid=1bcadeb4-a943-4a05-85f1-d8514ba84fc6

18 days ago3 proposalsOn-site in London, GBExpert Needed for Counsel on Property & Inheritance Tax
Hello My partner is a UK tax resident permanently living in the UK with dual nationality (UK & Latvia). She stands to inherit a property in Latvia from her father. As such, we need some advice on how to navigate this situation most tax-efficiently. Questions we have 1. Does inheritance tax need to be paid in the UK and the 7-year rule doesn't apply as the property's value is less than £325k? We'd like to know why if not. 2. By Latvian legislation, the deed of gift will be made based on the Gift Contract, which will contain a clause stating the value of the property being gifted. Eventually, if the property gets sold, can the sale value be used as a basis for calculating capital gains tax in the UK? If the answer to the question is no, please elaborate on why. Thanks

I need a WIX developer with coding experience who can add a custom functionality to a Wix Hotels app. I need a feature in which: I need to be able to add a booking system for our rooms which calculates room rates depending on the length of stay: so the pricing model is like AirBNB lets say 20$ per night If you book 1 week, then the weekly price is 100$, if you book 2 weeks than the biweekly price is 180$ , monthly 350$ so if someone books 8 days , i need it to calculate : 100$ for 7 days +20$ for 1 day = 120$ also they are not booking just the room but a package , we are a muay thai gym that offers accommodation on site and food. so they should be able to add or remove option : -first they choose the dates -then they choose the type of room -then they choose how many session of training per day they want -then they choose to add food to the package then they would be able to see the final price and a summary of the package that they have chosen, and an open comment box for their inquiry and a final button to inquire availability. This form will send an email to ask to check if we have availability. Let me know if this function is possible and you can do it. Tell me the price and turnaround time. Thank you!!
13 days ago22 proposalsRemoteLooking For A Forex Trader To Pass A Prop Challenge $15K
I'm looking for someone to complete a forex trading challenge following a set of rules and targets, without failure, with a funded account provided by a prop firm. Challenge details: Level 1: Starting Balance: $15,000 Target Balance: 10% ($16,500) - You need to get your balance to this figure so you need to make $1500. Daily drawdown: 4% ($14,400) - Your balance cannot close to or below this figure in a single day. You cannot lose $600 from your initial balance in a single day. Max drawdown: 6% ($14,100) - Your balance cannot close to this figure at any time. You cannot lose $900 from your initial balance in a single day. Max lot size: 1.5 across all trades - Your total trades should not exceed 1.5 lot size across all trades - Not individual trades. It's not 1.5 lots per trade, its 1.5 across all trades. Single-day profit cannot exceed 40% of the profit target - That means in a single day, the max profit you can make is $600. I will strongly advise that you stay at least $100 below the max figure just to be on the safe side so you don't break any rules. The stop loss should be set within 30 Minutes after opening the position. In case you are a Scalper and open and close trades within a period of fewer than 30 minutes, you don’t need to set a stop loss. NOTE: If you fail to complete the challenge by breaking the rules, the account will be closed and the challenge will be over therefore I need someone who has done this before with a good win rate and can do without failure. Here's how it works: You will need to do the challenge on the Ctrader platform and you will need to give me your Ctrader ID so I can share the trading account with you for you to do the challenge. You will start with $15,000 and your goal is to get the 10% target balance. Once you have reached the 10% target balance, you must stop trading immediately and inform me that you have reached the target. You will provide me with a screenshot as proof if necessary. Other Information: Lot sizes - This is where traders tend to mess things up and break rules so I want to emphasis on this point because if you break any of the rules, then the trading account will become deactivated and therefore I will not receive profit share. I will now give you some more explanation on lot sizes, so you are clear on this: The maximum lot size is set at 0.2 Lot for every 2,000 USD in your account balance. This measurement is based on the total account balance, not per individual trade. Example: Your balance is $15,000. To work out the lot size, calculate like this: 15,000 / 2,000 * 0.2 = 1.5. This means 1.5 is your max lot size across all trades. Lot size changes as your balance increases and decreases - Example: Your balance was $20,000 and now its $18,000. To work out what your max lot size is for the balance of $18,000, do this calculation: 18,000 / 2,000 * 0.2 = 1.8. This is your max lot size across all trades at a balance of $18,000. Another example: Your balance was $20,000 and now its $22,000. To work out what your max lot size is for the balance of $22,000, do this calculation: 22,000 / 2,000 * 0.2 = 2.2. This is your max lot size across all trades at a balance of $22,000. The basic point is to make sure to check your max lot size occasionally to ensure you don't go over it otherwise the account will be closed, and I will lose the account which will cost me money. You must be vigilant not to exceed the maximum allowed lot size. The lot size should be recalibrated whenever the balance dips below the initial balance. The number of open positions you can have is not restricted. However, if you’re considering placing pending orders while having open positions, ensure that the total of all open positions plus potential pending orders does not exceed the maximum position size. Tick speculation/trading, martingale trading, hedging, high-frequency trading bots, third-party bots, Martingale, are prohibited strategies that cannot be employed in all trading accounts. The use of these strategies will result in the cancellation of the account - These are not my rules – These are the rules of the prop firm. This may seem slightly overwhelming, but I will be reachable throughout this project in case you have any questions about any rules or you’re not sure so you’re not on your own. Once you have reviewed the project details carefully and submit your proposal, I will ask you a series of question to vet you out and if everything is good, then we can get started.
