Blockchain smart contract and Backend developer for a Startup
We are seeking a talented and experienced Mid-Level Smart Contract and Backend Developer with expertise in Web3.js, Ethers.js, Solidity, Node.js, Hardhat, and Foundry to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our blockchain development team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining smart contracts and backend systems to support our decentralized applications (dApps) and blockchain-based solutions. Responsibilities: Develop and deploy smart contracts on EVM blockchain platforms, ensuring security, efficiency, and reliability. Collaborate with the frontend development team to integrate smart contracts with user interfaces and ensure seamless user experiences. Design and implement backend systems using Node.js to support blockchain interactions and data management. Work closely with product managers and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Perform code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality, robust code. Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in blockchain technology and tools, incorporating best practices and emerging trends into our projects. Contribute to the improvement of development processes and workflows, driving efficiency and innovation within the team. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering their growth and development in blockchain technology. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 2+ years of experience in smart contract development with proficiency in Solidity. Strong understanding of blockchain technology, including Ethereum and other major blockchain platforms. Hands-on experience with Web3.js, Ethers.js, and Node.js for building decentralized applications and backend systems. Experience with development tools such as Hardhat and Foundry for testing and deployment of smart contracts. Solid understanding of cryptographic principles and security best practices in blockchain development. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Proven track record of delivering high-quality software projects on time and within budget. Virtual PR Assistant - UK Audio Tech company Experience Level: Experienced Estimated project duration: Ongoing As this is an ongoing role the budget indicated is kind of irrelevant. Please state your hourly rate with your application. We require a remote-working PR assistant to support the in-house PR and marketing team at a London-based consumer audio business. Summary - This is not an entry-level position. You MUST have at least 2 years’ experience working in the PR industry, preferably with some knowledge of the consumer tech and lifestyle press. - This role involves day-to-day PR admin, as well as support with press outreach and asset creation. - You need to be familiar with UK culture (ideally based in the UK and if possible commutable into London). - You need to be available during UK business hours. We communicate via email, Teams, and phone. - You need to be a fantastic, enthusiastic communicator – in person and in writing. - You need to be willing to learn technical details relating to audio technology. - A pro-active mindset is also required to chase people up for things on a regular basis and keep on top of all tasks. - This is a part-time role, starting at around 20+ hours per month. Depending on how we work together, this could increase to many more hours per month. Tasks and Responsibilities - General PR work, including: - Tracking global coverage. - Coordinating and tracking sample send-outs. - Help with drafting media alerts and press releases. - Global press outreach. - Occasional event planning and in-person event support. - Liaising with regional agencies and sales teams. Tidy the server from X-ransom attack
Hello, Our Wordpress website was attacked by x-ransom. We have a backup of the WP and the database dump. We have detected some corrupted files there but it seems that there are still some left that were not detected. It has to be tidy after the attack. It’s an internet shop with uploads files of around 100GB. It’s stored on a private hosting in LV. What is done do far: 1. Update WordPress Version 2. Use z’d updateSecure WP-Admin Login Credentials 3. Set Up Safelist and Blocklist for the Admin Page 4. Use Trusted WordPress Themes 5. Install SSL Certificate 6. Remove Unused WordPress Plugins and Themes 1. Enable Two-Factor Authentication for WP-Admin 2. Back Up WordPress 3. Limit Login Attempts 4. Change the WordPress Login Page URL 5. Log Idle Users Out Automatically 6. Monitor User Activity 7. Check for Malware - found several none-Wordpress specious files and plugins. Deleted them. 1. Disable PHP Error Reporting 3. Turn File Editing Off 4. Restrict Access Using the .htaccess File 5. Change the Default WordPress Database Prefix - not done 6. Disable XML-RPC 7. Hide the WordPress Version 8. Block Hotlinking - not done 9. Manage File Permissions not done After making the list, we received another x-ransome attack. I suspect he has a server level access not only wp level. If you apply, you need to be a server security and a Wordpress specialist. Please, quote for the job.
