Structural analysis on wooden beam systems-civil engineering
Hi, I need some structural analysis doing on a simple beam and load system. It is actually a climbing wall which has an adjustable angle. The bottom horizontal beam is flat on the floor. there is an upright (vertical 95mm x 95mm) vertical wood beam with a hinge at the top. On the hinge is attached the top beam which is the climbing wall. The beam is adjustable but can come to 40 degrees to the vertical. There is a restraint (either rope or wooden brace) to stop the beam from swinging down with the climbers weight. I have given the dimensions of the Pine wooden beams on the drawing. The beams will be bolted together (accept for the hinge). I want to know what all of the stresses and bending moments are in the system to know where the maximum forces are and whether or not the wood I have specified is strong enough. I would like to add a factor of safety of at lease 2 times (or ideally 3 times) Please could you model this on a structural analysis software system and provide all of the forces, stresses, deflections and let me know the maximum factor of safety before failure with the specified wood dimensions. If the dimensions of the wood are too small I would like the right dimensions to achieve a factor of safety of 3. I would like to know that the screws I would need to hold the joints as well. Lifting Lug Design
We have ongoing carbon steel cylindrical vessel design projects where we require some assistance to design, and supply calculations with 3D analysis for suitable lifting lugs and comp plates. We have included a sample of the type of analysis we would like submitted. This must be issued with a report showing all calculations and a written conformation that the lifting lug design is certified suitable for the vessel on which we are using it. We can supply all the required information including vessel diameter, materials, weights etc. We are also happy to assist with this process by providing a full 3D model of the vessel. We will however always remove all the internals for the copyright design protection. We produce all of our design work in Solidworks so would like the design (not specifically the analysis) carried out in the same software to allow for direct compatibility. Please feel free to ask for any further information prior to bidding for this work. I need 3 suggestions to improve a factory simulation model
I have a school project that is due in a week, and I need help with. The simulation model is done with "Witness simulation software" which probably wouldn't work with you, however, I have the data analysis PDF files that you can go through and analyse and come up with 3 suggestion to improve the factory's performance/efficiency. Information for the business: Fitness product manufacturing Industry: Sports and Fitness Design details: I have a a fully designed fitness product that we are ready to get manufactured and take to market. It has been designed in the latest 2017 Solidworks software. The product is a portable, multi-gym- "A Gym in a Box". I need some safety tests/ performance stress analysis tests run to determine weight tolerances, breakage points etc. I have all the Solidworks, STEP and .STL files. This would be done under an NDA. Ideas for the visual style: Solidworks, videos, Screen shots, photos, graphics etc. Extra notes: This job was previously award for £150 but the designer was unable to complete the job probably because he didn't have SW 2017. His reason was ; Reason: I am not able to complete this Job. Due to software restriction, I have been unable to get realistic results from my simulation. Solidworks support Agent told me today that I will have to upgrade my Solidworks Simulation software from Standard to Premium license in order to do a drop test simulation.
