This project entails developing a full-stack social networking web application with core features resembling Flickr, including user profiles, photo/video sharing, hashtags, locations, comments, likes, and personalized recommendations. The front-end interface should provide a clean and responsive design across devices resembling Flickr's style. The back-end will require a database to flexibly store user data and activity as well as authorization processes incorporating registration, email verification, and password-protected accounts. Administrative functions for content moderation are also needed. Overall, the goal is an end product offering an experience comparable to industry leaders in usability, security, and performance while duplicating Flickr's demonstrated look and functionality.
