Backend Shopify expert - javascript

Im looking for an experienced developer who can help with a client's Shopify website, which is currently running very slow and therefore losing customers..

90% sure it is old Javascript that is causing the problem so I think the coding needs to be cleaned up without damaging the functionality of the website.

Please let me know if this is something you have done before, any website examples, and what the price will be.
