Description
Experience Level: Expert
I run a market research agency which organises online surveys on behalf of clients.
We do not programme our own surveys, rather we write questionnaires in Word and provide these to programming partners who programme and host the surveys. At the moment the format of the questionnaire depends on which of my colleagues is writing it. I want to make the process of writing a questionnaire easier, ensuring greater consistency across my colleagues.
I am looking for someone who can develop something that helps automate questionnaire writing and formatting. I would like my colleagues to be able to drag and drop various elements (in the form of boxes) into a questionnaire, before populating these elements with the relevant text/information. The boxes would have a default format in terms of the font size, colour etc.
Variables (boxes) I need:
Title
Body text
Programmer instruction
Routing instruction
Question
I have attached an image to show roughly what I mean.
It should be possible to change the format of the Question variable to enable the user to select the following question types:
Open end
Single/multiple choice tick box
Grid first (i.e. a question with a rating scale at the top - e.g. 1 to 5 - and then a label at the side)
Grid next (as above but without the scale at the top
Drop down list
As new questions are dropped into the template, they should automatically number. Any text in the Routing instruction variable should automatically change to point to the correct question number (e.g. if the instruction references Q2 and a new question is entered before this, the Routing instruction should automatically change to Q3).
I would also want an additional element to enable my colleagues to save specific questions in a 'library' and then to be able to drag and drop these questions from the library into the template.
The output file format should be RTF or Word - i.e. when we save the questionnaire it should either be a standard Word file or a RTF file.

Seems like you are tying to reinvent surveymonkey, qualtrics etc?
