Design details: LIVE PROJECT BRIEF
Pret A Manger is a brand with a playful, creative and authentic tone of voice. Although it creates exceptional organic coffee, it will now focus on inspiring and motivating positivity and greater experiences among its coffee customers that life is more than coffee, obligations and work. Life is for ‘doing’. Coffee is no longer its central focus in marketing and advertising materials.
The Pret A Manger brand identity is to be visually refreshed by creating the marketing materials below to distinguish its tone of voice and quality of life values.

PLEASE DESIGN THE FOLLOWING MARKETING MATERIALS:
1. Interactive Digital Bus Stop Ad
Concept: To capture attention, commuters exposed to interactive screens featuring common daily life neglects portrayed as regrets are encouraged to physically wipe away their regrets through touching the screen to reveal inspiring resolutions for adoption
2. Café Poster
Concept: Create a poster for customers to vote locally for social initiative themes they want local café baristas to support.
3. Social Media Header
Concept: Design a creative header to be used on social media page to convey the new brand identity essence.
4. Social Media Post
Concept: A giveaway corresponding the most depressing time of the year – Blue Monday in January – will involve customers simply submitting an inspirational photo that shows them with their Pret coffee doing something fun to challenge expected gloominess.
5. Cycling Event Invite Poster
Concept: Help customers lead an active lifestyle by signing up at point of sale to attend a free 2-hour weekly group cycling event.

Target audience: Pret A Manger’s target market are young and middle-aged people whom drink coffee on-the-go and despite living busy, time-pressed lives they are young at heart. They value unpretentious, simply good tasting organic coffee and need to be reminded that Pret A Manger creates great experiences as well as great coffee.
Ideas for the visual style: Please see attached 'Pret A Manger Marketing Materials' file.
Things to avoid: Please only submit creative, high quality designs suitable for commercial use.

Is your budget flexible like others have asked? It is an awfully low price for such a lot of work that needs to be done to make this look good. Any designer worth their skills would never offer to complete this for such a low price so i wanted to give you a heads up kind reminder that you get what you pay for. I hope you can increase your budget as this could look really great with the right funding behind it

Hi,
Is it possible to discuss your requirements further? What is the best way to get in touch? Also, is the budget flexible considering the amount of work required.
Kind regards,
Meyrick John Lovell -
Hi Samia
Is the budget correct or have you missed a zero off the end?! If not, Pret is such an iconic brand to ask for that number of deliverables will fall under the minimum wage on this budget. Design is a profession not a hobby and I wouldn't be surprised if this brief isn't named and shamed in the press!Samia A.02 Apr 2017Hi Darren,
I kindly urge you to re-read the brief; I've clearly stated this is a live project, not a project for the actual brand Pret A Manger. -
