Excel Spreadsheet Sanitisation

Description of excel work: I have a spreadsheet of ~372,000 rows and 26 columns which I need sanitising. By sanitising I mean specifically:

• For some contacts there is only a full name so you will need to split the first name and last name and ensure that there are no mistakes (e.g. if the person has a middle name you will delete the middle name - not if double barrelled obviously). You will create a column of first and last names
• You will remove all duplicate values from the spreadsheet – you can interrogate via conditional format on email addresses to identify duplicates. There are 3 columns of emails for each record. You will need to ensure that in cases where a duplicate value exists that you collate all data from the duplicate entry into one record e.g. if one record for the same contact has an email and telephone number and the other has an email and address. You will need to merge to create one record
• You will need to create a full name from where you only has a first name and a surname (e.g. =A1&" "&A2) and correct obvious mistakes where there are no spaces or double or triple spaces for example
• You will need to sort the spreadsheet by company name and ensure that there are no gaps e.g. if the company name was “BP” and some records had an website address and other records of the same company didn’t

The returned spreadsheet will have all duplicate values merged based on email address, have complete columns of full names, first names, last names. The key issue is that you DO NOT delete any records by accident in the merging of duplicate records.

To be complete this task you will first need to sign an electronic NDA since the data contained in the spreadsheet is of a sensitive nature.
