Stage 4 Technical Plans
Hello, We require Stage 4 technical plans to submit to Building Control. Please find the current drawings attached for your review. Separately, we may also be interested in commissioning an overall site layout/masterplan for the property. This would show how the various areas are intended to be used, including elements such as the driveway, parking, orchard, vegetable growing areas, seating spaces, grazing land, and any other future landscaping or land-use proposals. This is primarily for our own long-term planning purposes and is not essential to the erection or installation of the barn itself. Finally, if you work closely with any Building Control specialists or approved inspectors, we have not yet appointed anyone and would be happy to receive recommendations and quotations for this aspect of the project as well. If possible, could you also provide a fee proposal/quotation for the Stage 4 plans and any additional services outlined above? I look forward to hearing from you and discussing the next steps. Best, Dan

I am looking for someone who can do two things: 1. Listen to my product idea and sketch it out clearly. 2. Physically build a rough basic model of it, using simple materials if possible. I do not want CAD files, 3D renders, digital images, UX design, branding, or a polished prototype. I need someone who can actually make a simple physical version so I can see whether the idea works in real life. The model does not need to look beautiful. It does not need to be factory-ready. It can be rough, basic, handmade, and made from wood, plastic, card, foam board, 3D printed parts, brackets, hinges, magnets, or whatever simple materials make sense. The important thing is that you can think practically, sketch the idea, and then build a physical proof-of-concept model yourself. I am based in London and would prefer someone I can meet in person first, but I am open to discussing options. I would prefer someone based in London and or near London. I know some designers are like "any designer who is worthwhile makes cad drawings and renders". Back 70 years ago, there were no computers, yet people made things, inventions were still created. I need an 'old school' mindset because I just purely want a person who can and does make things in their home. Also, someone who has a great understanding on how things work and when things won't work. Please quote for an hourly rate, as I would like to find someone I can meet on a regular basis for various product ideas, not just x1. Also, before any work commences I would ask you to sign a simple NDA for idea protection. Thank you. PS: I am on holiday for 2 weeks back on 8th July will respond to people then thanks for your time

Looking for an Illustrator — Dead Cylinder Co. Retro Moto Art Brand | UK Based Preferred Dead Cylinder Co. is a new British brand celebrating the golden age of British motorcycling through retro-inspired art and apparel. Think Triumph, Norton, BSA, AJS. Think period advertisement posters, technical engineering drawings, vintage race programmes. We exist for one reason — keeping the golden age of British motorcycles alive. We're looking for an illustrator who gets that aesthetic instinctively. Someone who doesn't need to be told what a magneto is. The work We have two design collections in development: The Archive — vintage British marque tribute designs in the style of period advertisements and race posters. Precision, detail and the beauty of engineering drawn with care. Initial brief is a small number of designs across both collections — starting with one piece to establish the working relationship, with a view to an ongoing collaboration as the brand grows. What we're looking for — A strong portfolio in retro, vintage or technical illustration — Genuine feel for the period aesthetic — this isn't pastiche, it's celebration — Clean, confident line work that holds up at both print and screen sizes — Someone who takes pride in the craft UK based preferred, but exceptional work speaks for itself. I own a rural property near Santa Margherita di Belice, Sicily, surrounded by countryside and olive trees. The plot is approximately 3,900 sqm and includes: an existing small house of about 60 sqm; a registered collapsed/rural building/ruin; olive trees and open land; old rectangular tuff quarry cuts below ground level; an existing access on one side; a possible new main entrance/gate from a lower road. At this stage I am not looking for technical drawings for permits and I am not looking for an architect to deal with Italian planning regulations. Later, when the concept is clear, I will work with a local Italian architect, engineer and surveyor for permissions, structure and execution. For now, I need a creative architect, landscape architect or architectural designer to help me develop a preliminary vision / concept masterplan for the property. What I would like to create The general idea is to transform the place into a beautiful, private rural Sicilian retreat, keeping the character of the land, the tuff stone, the olive trees and the existing buildings. The project should explore: a new main gate and access from the lower road; privacy, fencing and boundaries; restoration/reuse of the existing small house; possible reuse of the existing ruin/collapsed building; landscape design with olive trees, stone paths, shaded areas and outdoor dining; use of the old tuff quarry cuts as sunken gardens, patios, storage, wine/cellar spaces, outdoor rooms or possible future guest spaces; a swimming pool as an important feature of the concept; possible pool locations and styles; Mediterranean/Sicilian rural atmosphere, using stone, tuff, lime plaster, wood, pergolas, natural materials and simple elegant details. The style should be authentic and rural, not fake luxury. I am looking for something elegant, warm, Mediterranean and integrated with the landscape. Pool concept The swimming pool is important and should be included in the masterplan. Please explore different options, for example: a simple rectangular pool near the existing house; a pool integrated with the tuff/stone landscape; a smaller plunge pool as a first-phase option; a more scenic pool connected to the sunken quarry areas. The pool should feel private, natural and well integrated with the Sicilian countryside. Deliverables I would like to receive: Conceptual site plan / masterplan 2 or 3 design options showing different possible layouts Zoning diagram: house, ruin, pool, access, parking, garden, quarry areas, outdoor spaces Suggested pool positions and types Moodboard with materials, atmosphere and references Simple 3D views, sketches or visualisations Suggested development phases, from simple/realistic first works to more ambitious future ideas The work does not need to be technically perfect. I need clear ideas, atmosphere, layout and vision. Important note This is only a concept design project. The final project, permissions, structural checks, building regulations, seismic requirements, pool permits, drainage, engineering and all Italian legal matters will be checked later by local professionals in Sicily. The concept should help me and my wife understand the potential of the property before we invest in a full technical project. Files I can provide I can provide: satellite image with approximate boundaries marked; photos and videos of the land; photos of the existing house and ruin; photos of the tuff quarry cuts; approximate position of the current access; approximate position of the possible new gate; basic measurements if needed. Ideal freelancer I am looking for someone with experience in: rural architecture; Mediterranean design; landscape design; small retreats / boutique hospitality concepts; adaptive reuse of ruins; pool integration in natural landscapes; concept masterplans and visual storytelling. Creativity is more important than technical precision at this stage.

Interior Design for House Floor (approx. 80 sqm)
Hello, I am looking for a talented interior designer to create a cohesive interior design concept for the entrance and the entire "ground" floor of a house. The house has an upper floor, but that is not part of this project. Project Scope: • Entrance (~5 sqm): Currently in a raw state. Needs a functional design (wardrobe/storage, lighting). • Ground Floor (~75 sqm): Open-plan living space (kitchen + dining + living room), corridor, bathroom and master bedroom with connected bathroom (only shower and washing cabinet) that will be divided with sliding glass. The bathroom has tiles on the walls. Design Style & Aesthetics: • Overall Style: Cohesive, warm, leaning towards Warm Scandinavian. It should feel bright, cozy, and sophisticated. Our objective is to move in as soon as possible thus; the bedroom and majority of furniture should be from IKEA (mid to higher price end) with bed 180 cm wide. Except for the dining table as we need a dining table with an approx. size 230x100 cm so it will be custom made. The colours shoud be around wood, off-white and in a minority (10% or less) shades of blue. • Flooring: The entire ground floor and entrance will feature wood-look porcelain tiles (120x20 cm) in a neutral oak tone. The stairs that came in the house are of oak but are not mounted during renovation. • Wall & Ceiling Colors: o Most areas: Off-white/Creamy white (my idea is JUB Jasmine as it is available here). o Master Bedroom: A paint colour (coming from the tiles in the bathroom, see picture) that should cover walls and the ceiling including the ceiling of the connected bathroom. Fixed Elements (Open-Plan Living Area): The kitchen and living room are combined, so the design needs to tie them together using these existing elements: 1. Kitchen Layout: Already planned (IKEA Sinarp – dark oak finish). I will attach the kitchen planning files. 2. Kitchen Backsplash: Calacatta tile pattern (warm veins). 3. Kitchen Countertop: Off-white white or a bright grey. 4. Living Room: We are keeping an existing, well-preserved white L-shaped sofa (medium size). I would like to have a place to hide the iRoomba somewhere in the living room. 5. Bathrooms: Layout is fixed, tiles are already installed, and bathroom furniture is ordered (dark oak, modern style Ideagroup blob 80 cm wide plus large mirror). Thus, they are not meant for design. I am describing also this part of the floor for the purpose of cohesiveness. Attached Files for Reference: • Architect's floor plan (general layout). • IKEA Sinarp kitchen design files. • Photo of the mirror to be used in the entrance. Current site photos (showing screed floors, windows, and finished bathroom tiling) will be provided in a later phase. Deliverables Required: I am attaching a layout (2D) that my husband draw for the electricity and plumbing. However, furniture layouts in living room, entrance and bedroom are not fixed. Thus, I will need help in furniture layout/color/material, proposed wall colour, lights, and 3D photorealistic visualisation, and a basic furniture/material shopping list (mostly from IKEA). How to Apply: Please share your portfolio with similar warm Scandinavian or similar residential projects, your estimated timeline, and a fixed price for this scope of work. Please also state how many revision rounds are included in your quote. Looking forward to your proposals!

I have just this evening written a poem, I still need to revise it slightly, but I would ideally love someone who could compile a 3:29 video with background music 'Sand Drawing - Judah Earl'. I have read it out loud with this song playing quietly in the background, I am no video editor, but with weeks of planning and software and time - which I do not have - I may be able to pull something off. Alas, I require the help of a professional. I have worked out roughly, each video needs to be 3-5 seconds long. I don't know whether it's easier to compile them all at 5 seconds and then shorten the clip to match the words? I have details below the scenes I would love to have based on the chronological order of the poem. The one caveat, is ideally I would love to make all the clips my own, using me, my friends and family. However, that will take much longer. Therefore, I thought, if I can pay someone to get the whole video created, with the text and timing done to a tee, then I could ideally work with you again to revise some if not all of the video clips and swap them out with my own. How does that sound? I don't know the price, might have to be an hourly basis. It would also be lovely if you have your own video footage, to make it personable, otherwise stock footage is fine. As I say, with potential revisions done later. Video Scene Order: 1- A man sat quietly on a bench in the background, looking somewhat sad, with hustle and bustle, crowds of people in the foreground passing by as he looks around. 2- A man or woman praying in a church, chapel, then looking out the stained glass window at the end. 3 - two friends hugging and talking 4 - A Mother and Father dancing or grandparents 5 - A man crying looking to the skies, cloudy grey skies, close up of the eyes, filled with sadness - this could be a couple of videos 6 - Sky scenes, clouds, rain, sunsets in the sky, birds flying, a few montage scenes 5-8 seconds 7 - Flying birds, like a murmuration of birds would be wonderful 8 - Crying person with great emotion, letting it all out, saying goodbye perhaps 9 - someone skimming with a stone, the stone disappears - farewell. another drop in the ocean so to speak. 10 - Traveller, explorer, filmed from behind, with a rugged backpack, climbing a hill, mountain, coast path, adventure themed, moving on, going forth with great strength. 11 - Young couple kissing, intimate, young love 12 - Older couple embracing, long lasting love 13 - Seasons Montage - Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter. - beautiful. 14 - Clocking spinning, turning, large railway clock, maybe a time lapse of people at times quare station flying by - hinting time flying by. 15 - Someone thinking, deep in thought, pondering questions, maybe sat somewhere quiet. 16 - Something to portray gladness and sadness - good times and bad times, laughter and difficult times. 17 - Workout video, a man or woman pushing through the pain, close up shot in their eyes lifting heavy weight or at the gym, showing power, strength and resilience. 18 - Heartbreak, someone alone by a tree, in a park, relationship ended, sad tears, something to show the world falling around them, maybe leaves falling from a tree as a secondary video. 19 - Clear, calm seas, a beautiful shot of calm waves and maybe a sunset or a whale breaching. 20 - Trees blowing in the wind, shot looking up through the trees. 21 - Moonlight, a breeze at night, a night time scene, maybe the night sky and a shooting star afterwards. 22 - Sunrise, the most beautiful sunrise shot, maybe even with someone in it, looking at the sun as it rises. 23 - A man - me eventually - sat in a meadow, a lovely field, an old English Oak Tree, a wooden field gate, something such as this, looking into the sunset, the shot filmed from behind, contemplating life and lost in thought. End Scene. Thanks p.s. I don't have bags of money, but this is so special to me, I want it to be the first video on my new Instagram account, dedicated to my film making and poetry, reigniting my old self.
