Legal 'cease & desist' letter to IP infringer
Hi, There’s a website blatantly copying ours with the clear objective of confusing customers, as they sell many of the same products as us. They used to directly steal our content and images but now resort to imitating our design and style to such a degree that it’s evident they are ‘deriving’ their design from ours. My complaint: - They have infringed copyright as defined under Sections 16, 17, and 20 of the CDPA 1988. - They risk consumer confusion, violating protections against passing off under common law and potentially breaching Section 10(3) of the Trade Marks Act. - They may infringe database rights if specific compilations of information, such as product descriptions, have been copied. I have created a full document outlining all of these contraventions and require the assistance of a UK legal practice, appropriately registered, to send a cease-and-desist letter to the company and handle my complaint. Only UK bidders working in law, please.

Im a CRO/ecommerce specialist currently working with a D2C ecommerce brand. I've recently taken on their google shopping account, it was previously run by an agency for 3 months and the client kept it running and has asked if i can manage it for him. I need a bit of assistance to upskill on various items beyond the classic youtube tutorials... so looking maybe looking at a few deepdive sessions or whatever you think might help to get me up to speed? Client: https://www.simplygentle.co.uk/ They have a budget of £500 a month... but run on 60-70% profit margins (due to d2c margins) and literally have loads of stock in their trade distribution centre, so they are happy to increase budget as soon as they start seeing positive and predictable ROIs. Previous Agency: They tried various Google Ads campaigns including normal search and Performance Max... all campaigns now paused. 1x Google Shopping Campaign still running, to all 40 products included in 1 ad group, blanket CPC bid amount of £0.30 across all products, no negative keywords. Product feed implemented via shopify app. Since taking over I have: - changed primary conversion from purchase to add to cart (due to low purchase conversions of 3-10 a month)... not sure if this is a good idea? - Added 200+ negative keywords to the standard campaign. Not sure what a normal amount of negative keywords would be for 40ish products? - Created a new standard google shopping campaign targeting higher value products with better profit margin / ROI potential. Only 6 products, 1 ad group per product type - but they arent getting many clicks... need to know how/whether its possible to drive more traffic to hero products. - I've update parts of the product feed (via shopify app) to include google product categories, but need to know what the best levers are to improve campaign performance? E.g. title, meta description, photos etc.

29 years ago, a lifelong buddy who was selling insurance at the time, was able to find and purchase the phone number for Phil Rasuto’s (NY Yankees) “The Money Store” number after decades of TV advertising. To this day, from one phone number, he averages 350 mil/yr in the secondary commercial mortgage arena. So, I started with two numbers of recently closed (and long established!) roofing companies. First call on day 3 was for a 292 sq commercial roof. Which led into a 5mil buildout at a 10% GC fee. From that, I purchased ALL the recently closed roofing company numbers in the US. There’s a disproportionate amount in lib $hithole California. As I call through to confirm the numbers are still “out of order/disconnected” I have reached people that were unsuspectingly given the old roofers number. I ask, is this “xyz” roofing, and I get the same response each time. “I wish I did roofing, I get calls daily for roofing!” Mighty Dog roofing bought up 3 states, and now points all those missed calls right to their call center. They’re able to gauge which numbers yield the most leads, and which ones don’t. They made their investment back in a week!!!! Whether you’re an established roofer looking for an inexpensive lead source into perpetuity, OR An entrepreneurial spirit, current roofing sales person, and wanting to start your own roofing company, I can help you. Why start at the bottom? Reincorporate the now closed roofers name, and it looks like you’re established for years right out the gate. I’ve got a Georgia roofer est 1917!!!! Another one in Columbus est in 1990, w 5k feedbacks and a 4.7 star avg. (9500.00). Prices vary from 500.00-9500.00 depending on several factors, such as the obvious-years in biz, online feedbacks, SEO presence, website availability, etc. -Owner financing available. -Partnership possibilities -Barter -Biz-in-a-box (Incorporation, insurances, website, logo design, SEO, Estimating software, All needed forms, addendums, contracts, invoices, etc) Send me your city and state, I’ll get back to you within 24 hours with what’s available and cost. Out of 1134 roofing numbers nationwide, still have about half left. Once roofing is sold out, will go into the additional trades, such as Electricians, HVAC, Plumbing, Pest Control, Mortgages, etc.

I wondered if you could possibly help me with the below. We have a trading strategy that, from initial testing, is showing 92% accuracy, and we’re looking for someone to help take it further. The task involves collecting and preprocessing market data (price, volume, technical indicators, sentiment, and fundamental data) to improve the bot using AI, ML, DL, RL, and neural networks. This includes gathering historical and real-time data, feature engineering, normalizing, and setting up a system for backtesting and optimization. If you know anyone that has experience in these areas and can help us optimize the bot, please let me know!
