Jewellery CAD Designer Wanted – Ongoing Work We are an established custom jewellery business based in Dublin, Ireland, looking for an experienced Jewellery CAD Designer to work with us on an ongoing basis. Our current CAD designer will be changing career soon so we are looking for someone reliable who can step in and produce CAD designs to the standard shown in the attached images. You must have specific experience designing jewellery for manufacture, not simply general 3D modelling experience. Our work includes: * Engagement and wedding rings * Diamond and gemstone rings * Remodelling customers’ existing jewellery * Pendants, name pieces and personalised jewellery * Men’s rings and signet rings * Bespoke one-off pieces We will normally provide photographs, sketches, stone measurements and a description of what we need. You should be able to take this information and produce an accurate, practical CAD model ready for manufacture. Important requirements: * Strong jewellery CAD experience * Excellent understanding of stone setting, claws, bezels, halos, pavé, etc. * Understanding of minimum metal thicknesses and manufacturing tolerances * Designs must be practical for casting, setting and finishing * Ability to work from photographs and measurements * Good communication * Reasonably quick turnaround * Ability to make revisions when required Please look carefully at the attached examples. Custom macro for Solidworks CAD view creation

I would like someone to create a code or macro that lets me quickly export standard views of a 3D model from Solidworks CAD (2024 & 2026 but ideally not version specific). Currently to export screenshots to send to people I manually orient the model to specific views - e.g. front, top, left and snap a jpeg. I would like to automate this to save time, so it will automatically take the standard views and export them to a named folder. For example see in the images the manual method, I would align to each view to get the views shown top right. I don't mind what method is used to create this but ideally would like a single button or shortcut key to press to activate the routine.

Help designing window layout to the front elevation of a house

I have a project which I propose to start next April. This will be our 5th project, so we are well versed with the process and completing similar projects. I am a qualified Building Surveyor and a Property Developer by profession: • We have planning permission for the works. • We designed the works and have had an architectural technician draw up the detail. • We have structural engineers designs and calculations. • We have construction drawings prepared. • We have Party Walls covered. • We have building Regs covered. • We have obtained quotes and have selected a builder. What we are not quite happy with is the front elevation which is probably the most important piece for us. How the house will look from the front is crucial. We have tried to finesse the elevation with our current “architectural technician” but he’s not a designer but is good at pulling the drawings together. We sent him AI generated images of what we wanted plus some photos of a property locally which we like. We like the painted brickwork, the colour of the pain etc. See pics and images below. I appreciate there are issues with where the openings sit in each room, but we are prepared to accept this to get the front looking its best. The roof on the drawings attached is not quite right too.
