Past "Apache-spark" Projects
Make a (production/demo) level install of a DGX Spark cluster
Hi, I'm looking for an experienced AI infrastructure specialist — or a passionate enthusiast with solid hands-on experience — to build a robust, flexible, and high-performance backend foundation for OpenClaw (an open-source autonomous AI agent) on two NVIDIA DGX Spark systems connected via 200 GbE (ConnectX-7). The goal is a stable, demo-ready environment that showcases the power of open-source models. OpenClaw will run on a separate system and connect easily via OpenAI-compatible APIs (or equivalent best-practice interfaces). Everything should prioritize: Easy remote access and external connectivity (via Tailscale/ZeroTier). Fast performance within the hardware's unified memory constraints. Simple model switching/adding later (hot-swappable where possible). Persistent services with web UIs for live demos. On-demand tools that can spin up/down cleanly. Hardware & Current State 2× NVIDIA DGX Spark (Grace Blackwell, 128 GB unified LPDDR5x memory each, ARM64). 200 GbE interconnect + 1 GbE internet links. I have a basic cluster setup, timeshift snapshots, ZeroTier, and Tailscale already running. You're welcome to rebuild from scratch if that's cleaner and faster. Core Requirements (Persistent Where Possible) vLLM as primary inference engine with a large-context main model (e.g., Nemotron 120B or equivalent). Must support easy switching to newer models. Whisper (or best-practice alternative like faster-whisper) – ready for OpenClaw API integration. Piper TTS – ready for OpenClaw API/text-to-voice integration. All persistent services should run with clean web UIs for demo purposes. On-Demand Tools (Configured for Easy External/Tailscale Access + Web UIs) Ollama + web UI (for specific or scheduled models). OCR model + workflow (let's discuss the best option—e.g., EasyOCR/PaddleOCR—and data saving/integration with other tools). Image generation (primary for OpenClaw use) with multiple models available. LoRA training tools for image generation. RAG / vector DB (choose the best integration with OpenClaw and other tools—e.g., Qdrant, Chroma, or Milvus). Multi-agent capable dev tools / environment. Central Portal & Usability A single web-based portal (e.g., OpenWebUI or equivalent) for central access to all tools, easy model switching, admin controls, and live demos. Nice-to-Have / Optional Enhancements (quote separately if interested) Full 2-node clustering with tensor parallelism (e.g., using the open vLLM-DGX-Spark repo or Ray/NCCL). Docker Compose / lightweight Kubernetes orchestration for easy updates and portability. Monitoring dashboard (Prometheus + Grafana). NVIDIA NIM microservices for optimized inference. Any other best-practice tools you recommend for integration, speed, or flexibility. Your Profile You're deeply familiar with these tools (or eager to dive in as an enthusiast), NVIDIA DGX systems (especially Spark/Grace Blackwell), multi-node inference (vLLM, tensor/pipeline parallelism), Docker/containerization, and API integrations. You understand VRAM/unified-memory optimization and can make everything work together smoothly. Bonus if you have experience with OpenClaw, OpenWebUI, RAG pipelines, or agent frameworks. Proper English communication (written and spoken) is a must for smooth collaboration. Timeline & Expectations We have a tight deadline — I need a stable, running environment live as soon as possible. You're completely free to experiment, test, and play around with different configurations during setup, but the priority is delivering a functional, demo-ready system quickly. Speed matters, while still maintaining quality and stability. Compensation Competitive hourly rate (fully flexible and based on your region, experience, and the exact scope) or a fixed-price project bid if preferred. I'm completely open to discussion—propose whatever rate works best for you and your location. This project serves as a test case for potential further collaboration and ongoing work if it goes well. If you're the right fit, there will be plenty of exciting follow-up opportunities. Work Style & Availability This is remote work. I am completely flexible on working hours and not EU-bound. As long as you're excellent at what you do, I'm happy to work with talent from anywhere in the world (including low-income countries—great people deliver great results everywhere). If this sounds like a good fit, reply with: Your relevant experience (especially with DGX Spark, vLLM multi-node, or similar stacks — enthusiasts with strong practical knowledge are very welcome). Rough timeline and cost estimate (with your proposed rate). Any questions or suggested improvements. Looking forward to building something powerful together!

UK based lawyer/solicitor to help with legal expenses cover
I have legal expenses cover via my policy with Hiscox. Hiscox passed over the legal claim I want to lodge against a third party, to Arag insurance, which aquired DAS insurance a few years ago. Arag insurance, passed the claim to 'Arag Law', their own law firm, who have looked at the claim and even tough the merits of the claim have greater than 51% odds of success, they are still refusing cover because the companies public house records show that they only have £100 in the bank. My claim is against three entities, which operate 13 venue's in London including the largest venue in Holborn, where most of the business took place and they owe a significant amount of money from unpaid fee's and they have breached their contract with us repeatedly, poaching clients, unjustly enriching themselves. The parent company makes ALOT of money. These venue's bring in ALOT of money, yet, the insurance companies current position is that if a judgement was obtained, we wouldn't get the money, because of the public records from companies house which, is not an accurate representation of how we could recover monies owed. Under the policy, I am allowed to get a second expert opinion to review the claim and dispute the decision, before escalating to the financial ombudsman if needed. I am looking for a UK BASED legal representative, to help me navigate this project, knowing full well that if a judgement was secured against the defendants that, with freezing orders, the assets inside the venue's, stock, non money negotiated settlements through offsetting mechanisms from future events, it would actually be very easy for us to recoup what's owed to us. PLEASE, no shady people outside the UK who have false promises. I need a genuine representative with legal knowledge, similar to that of a mckenzie friend, who isn't going to rip me off like a traidtional solicitors firm who could probably sort it out but if not sorted out, all the risk would fall on myself. The claim has merits, the issue is they don't think that if a judgement came, we would get the money. I strongly, disagree. If anyone has legal knowledge to help with this, has been through something similar or some other reasons sparks your interest, get in touch! There's no harm in having a chat to see what can be discussed. PERFORMANCES RELATED RESULTS PLEASE. Make your own offers based on milestones of success. Do not say what you cannot deliver. Be expected to show proof of previous work or anything that supports your understanding of law in this area and please don't pop up trying to wing it. I am not in experienced, but this is a technical matter and I am looking to work with someone who can help me achieve more than what I could do independently. The stakes are high, the legal expenses cover is there. My business is owed a SIGNIFICANT amount of money and with the right ADR, I think something could be worked out properly but on top of that, getting the value from the insurance policy we have a legal right to obtain is the main focus and secondary paths can be explored once that one has been exhausted using the remedies available to all policy holders like me. I welcome and genuine offer to work on this project, all offers will be reviewed with respect and I will personally write to every enquiry to inform of a yes or no. DON'T BID UNLESS YOU ACTUALLY MEET THE CRITERIA AND HAVE THE BACKGROUND TO OFFER GENUINE SUPPORT. Thankyou. I have over £500k in legal expenses cover. I have set the project price as £300 as a guide for up front payment to look through the claim and strategise for the primary objectives but I remain open to alternative offers and paths and will look at everything strategically asseing it's commercial impact accordingly.

Need a Yin-Yang Teaser Animation Video
Create a short, minimalist animated teaser video (15–20 seconds base) that builds pure curiosity. No text, logos, domain names, or voiceover until the final 2–3 seconds for text — keep the animation mysterious and unexplained. Exact Sequence (same for all versions): 0–5 seconds: Classic black-and-white Taijitu (yin-yang symbol) centered on dark neutral background (charcoal or subtle gradient). Starts static, then gentle breathing pulse with faint glow. 5–13 seconds: Awakens elegantly — soft particle traces on S-curve, tiny sparks, smooth color transition: Yin half → deep midnight blue (#1A2A44). Yang half → warm amber gold (#D97706). Dots glow in opposite accents (soft gold in blue, subtle blue in gold). Gentle slow rotation/flowing energy — hypnotic and balanced. 13–17 seconds: Transition completes; symbol stabilizes, soft ripple/glow pulse. 17–20 seconds: Fade-in clean, bold centered text (white/light gray, sans-serif like Montserrat): "COMING SOON" (all caps, large but understated). Hold 2–3 seconds, fade to black. Deliver Three Formats (all from the same animation, centered crop): Horizontal (16:9): Full 1920×1080 or 1080p resolution. Vertical (9:16): 1080×1920 — optimized for TikTok/Reels/Shorts (center the symbol). Square (1:1): 1080×1080 — perfect for Instagram feed/X posts (center-crop the symbol). Style & Mood: Premium, philosophical, serene — subtle wellness/tech vibe. Smooth particle/glow (After Effects etc.), restrained elegance. Sound (optional): Faint ambient hum/chime/sparkle — silent OK. Deliverables: MP4s for each format (horizontal, vertical, square). Source file. 100% No copyright issues. David
Collabora Online + Nextcloud Integration – Issue
Collabora Online + Nextcloud Integration – Status & Outstanding Issue Environment Server: Dedicated Linux server (Plesk, EL9) Reverse proxy: Plesk-managed nginx (in front of Apache) Nextcloud: Self-hosted instance (HTTPS) Collabora: External Collabora Online server (Docker-based) Proxy model: nginx reverse proxy CDN / WAF: Disabled during testing SSL: Terminated at nginx (Collabora running without internal SSL) What Has Been Completed (and Verified) 1. Collabora container deployment Collabora Online is running in Docker Exposed internally on port 9980 Container starts cleanly and remains healthy Verified via direct local HTTP request: /hosting/discovery → HTTP 200 OK 2. nginx reverse proxy configuration nginx successfully proxies Collabora endpoints: /hosting/discovery /cool /browser WebSocket upgrades are enabled and functioning Verified externally over HTTPS: /hosting/discovery → HTTP 200 OK 3. SSL / proxy alignment SSL is terminated at nginx Collabora started with: SSL disabled internally SSL termination enabled This matches the reverse proxy architecture No TLS or certificate errors observed 4. CDN / firewall eliminated as a factor CDN/WAF fully disabled during testing Requests go directly from client → nginx → Collabora No CDN headers or interference present 5. Nextcloud Office configuration “Use your own server” selected External Collabora URL configured (HTTPS) Built-in CODE server disabled Demo server not used Admin UI reports Collabora as reachable 6. WOPI allow list configuration WOPI allow list configured in Nextcloud No token-based authentication configured Certificate verification left enabled (public certificate in use) 7. nginx validation nginx configuration validates successfully Reload performed via Plesk tooling No nginx syntax or runtime errors Current Behaviour (What Works) Collabora service starts normally Reverse proxy works correctly Discovery XML loads both: Internally (direct to port 9980) Externally (via HTTPS proxy) WebSocket connections establish successfully No networking, firewall, or SSL failures observed Current Issue (Still Failing) Error shown in Nextcloud UI Document loading failed Unauthorised WOPI host. Interpretation of the Error Collabora is rejecting the WOPI request Rejection happens after discovery and WebSocket setup This indicates a WOPI host authorisation failure, not a connectivity issue Likely Root Cause (High Confidence) The Collabora domain allowlist regex does not exactly match the WOPI host string generated by Nextcloud. Typical causes: Host includes an explicit port (e.g. :443) Regex not anchored (^ / $) Multiple valid hostnames not fully accounted for This is a known and common Collabora failure mode. Evidence Supporting This Conclusion Network path is fully functional SSL termination is correct Discovery and WebSockets work Error is specific to WOPI authorisation CDN/WAF is disabled Logs show normal Collabora startup and request handling up to WOPI validation Trying to get AI apps setup and working, trying to do this broke the Next docs.
ESP32 Embedded Firmware – Smooth Sparkler LED Animation
I am developing a wearable LED headband with a continuous, sparkler-style moving light effect. The mechanical design (SolidWorks / STEP) is fully completed and locked. This project is strictly focused on electronics and embedded firmware — no mechanical design, web, or mobile work. The goal is to implement a high-quality LED animation engine on a microcontroller (ESP32 or equivalent) that produces smooth, continuous motion around a 360° addressable LED ring (~72 LEDs). The animation must use fractional (sub-pixel) position tracking and brightness blending across adjacent LEDs — visible LED-to-LED stepping is not acceptable. Scope of Work: • Develop embedded C/C++ firmware for addressable LEDs (WS2812B / SK6812 or equivalent) • Implement continuous 360° motion with one or more moving “sparks” • Use floating-point or fixed-point math to blend brightness between adjacent LEDs • Create smooth trailing glow and subtle flicker (sparkler-style behavior) • Match motion speed and feel to provided reference visuals • Ensure clean, efficient, well-commented firmware suitable for manufacturing Deliverables: • Firmware source code • Short demo video showing slowed-down motion that clearly demonstrates sub-pixel interpolation • Brief explanation of animation logic and LED indexing • Optional: guidance on MCU/LED selection if needed Out of Scope: • Mechanical CAD • PCB layout • Mobile apps or cloud connectivity This project requires experience with embedded systems, microcontroller programming, and addressable LED animation. Please do not apply if your background is primarily web or mobile development.

Copy website and match URL structure locally
Copy website and match URL structure locally - I have multiple websites and need to copy them from one host (with CMS) to another host (without CMS). Flat copy. I understand things like contact forms will not work as they are PHP. The URL's must stay the same and all links work as they do now. I am running apache and want to see you run a local copy that I can have with the correct vhost and htaccess to make it work.

Magento 2 – Fix Ryft Payment Webhooks (Lightweight PHP)
I am running a Magento 2 multi-store environment with a Ryft payment gateway already integrated. The majority of the system is in place, but I need an experienced Magento 2 / payment gateway developer to audit, verify, and correctly finalise the Ryft webhook implementation. This is a senior-level technical task focused on correctness, performance, and reliability. Critical requirement (please read carefully) The Ryft webhook must be handled using a lightweight standalone PHP endpoint. ❌ NOT using Magento bootstrap (app/bootstrap.php) ❌ NOT loading the Magento framework just to receive webhooks ❌ NOT relying on heavy Apache or Magento routing The webhook should be received in plain PHP, validated, deduplicated, and only then pass confirmed data into Magento in a controlled way. The goal is minimal server load, high reliability, and zero duplicate processing. Current situation Magento 2 multi-store setup (many stores, shared codebase) Ryft payments are mostly working Webhooks are unreliable or not firing consistently Some order duplication and inconsistent order state updates Current implementation may be too heavy and loading Magento unnecessarily What I need you to do Review the existing Ryft payment and webhook configuration Verify webhook events are correctly received (eg captured, failed, refunded) Implement or correct a lightweight PHP webhook endpoint Validate webhook signatures securely Ensure idempotent processing (no duplicate order updates if Ryft retries) Ensure correct Magento order state updates once events are confirmed Confirm the final setup is production-safe and correctly architected What I am NOT looking for A full Magento rewrite Magento observers handling webhook ingestion Any solution that loads the Magento framework to receive webhooks Required experience Magento 2 (checkout flow, order states, payment modules) Payment gateway integrations Webhooks, retries, signatures, and idempotency Clean, efficient, production-grade PHP Budget This is a senior task. Fixed budget up to £750, depending on approach and experience. To apply, please answer BOTH questions below: Why is it bad practice to load Magento’s bootstrap when receiving payment webhooks, and what impact does this have on PHP-FPM and server load? How would you design webhook processing to prevent duplicate order updates if Ryft sends the same event more than once? Applications that do not answer both questions will not be considered.
