Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Estimated project duration: less than 1 week
Industry: Healthcare
Brand name/slogan in logo: SO-LIFE and SO-HEROIC
Number of revisions: three
Ideas for the visual style: words with a twist
Things to avoid: blood images
Preferred colors: greens/blues/yellows/greys
Where the design will be used: print and web
Extra notes: Haemnet is a charity that supports nurses who manage people with bleeding disorders.
We are about to get started on two clinical studies and each needs a logo.
SO-LIFE (Study Of LIving with a platelet Function disordEr). Platelet function disorders are a very rare group of diseases in which people bleed because the platelets, which are cells found in the blood, don’t stick together and cause wounds to heal. Because these people are quite rare and few in number they are often not very visible
SO-HEROIC. This one stands for Study Of Haemophilia Experiences, Results and Opportunities In Children and young adults with long-standing inhibitors. These are young people with haemophilia who have a particularly tough time because their treatment often doesn’t work properly. As a result, they often bleed very heavily, often for no apparent reason, which can cause damaged joints.
In both cases, we need strong logos that convey hope and optimism, and the ability to live a normal life.
The designs should complement both our existing colour palette (take a look at our front page, www.haemnet.com) and our existing study, which is called SO-FIT. The SO-FIT logo is attached.
I need someone who can provide three designs for each of the two logos. We’ll look at the designs and make some suggestions for improvements but I will need final artwork delivered in less than a week.
Once we have two logos that we like, we’ll need then supplied as eps, png, jpg files.
