Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
We are seeking a part-time bookkeeper who every weekly follows up to account for inventory at 22 local area restaurants, and submit purchase orders to wholesalers. This position will be done entirely remotely / from home. This position will also require setting up and handling invoicing and dealing with potential service issues. It requires a person with excellent organisational skills, a working mobile phone with Whatsapp, and Excel on their computer. United Kingdom based as it will require some calls to local establishments from time-to-time.
The position requires communicating with site manager of locations once weekly to understand stock levels, mostly through pictures of inventory, and then taking that information and putting them into purchase orders. It also requires being a direct line of communication between the restaurant and wholesaler. In addition, it requires finding solutions for basic technical issues through reaching out to support lines with partners. It also requires precise accountability of time, and creating invoices monthly for services.
Please note this is a part-time and flexible position, but inventory checks must occur from Monday-Weds, with purchase ordering occuring no later than EOD Wednesday. So your availability must be in the early part of the week. Given our experience with this position, it will require 3-6 hours of time weekly, plus another 2-3 hours for monthly invoicing.
It is perfect for a very organised person who wants a flexible part-time opportunity for added income. Bookkeepers ideal!
