MOTION GRAPHIC DESIGNER BRIEF
We are seeking an experienced motion graphics designer who has great design flair and ideas to assist us with the production of a new company showreel.
We ideally would like this to be produced displaying key words / text informing viewers about what we do and our services, pictures will also represent these displaying previous examples of our work. The video will be played from the home page of our new website which is currently in the development stages and is scheduled to be launched early Feb. The new showreel must reflect the corporate agency colours, fonts and company branding / logos. We require the showreel to be produced so it is an extension to the new main site and should incorporate the same flow / be in keeping with the main site identity. (We will provide mock ups of the new site design along with pictures and text branding)
IFM COMPANY OVERIEW
Ifm events are a promotional staffing and live events agency. We work with a vast array of blue chip clients, from corporate sectors for hostessing and exhibitions - to vibrant and dynamic marketing/Pr agencies who request a more outrageous theme/style of street marketing such as the Lynx manwash. Therefore the showreel MUST appeal to all our customers showcasing a little of every sector that we offer our services to. Please see our old site for further information on who we are and what we do (www.ifmevents.co.uk) .
AGENCY BRIEF
The aim of the showreel is to tell our customers about are services, who we are, what we do, and who we do it for. We want to ensure that within the 90 seconds of viewing customers are left fully understanding this furthermore ensuring that the production showcase’s our services and expertise in such an amazing style that they cannot wait to contact us to hire !!!!
We have a number of competitors who offer the same/similar services; therefore it is imperative that we stand out from the crowd as the best leaving a lasting and extremely memorable impression. One of our competitors who I feel have really nailed it is iD see example http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AfkGID5Q1Ls although I feel that this is to long they have too many words and do not service the corporate market. We are hoping to achieve something similar to this production (but of course not a direct rip off)
Also for your reference below is an old ifm showreel, something we put together a few years Please bear in mind it is not professionally produced as we did it in house!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1wgQjkfkxMA
What we require for our selected designer
Examples of past experience and samples of previous work
Suggestions / Ideas
Design flair
Production time scale
Understanding of brief and agency requirement
Music suggestions
