Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Information for the business: See extra notes
Industry: Education
Type of logo: Word mark, Letter form, Abstract mark, Pictorial mark, Emblem, Character
Brand name/slogan in logo: CACT Youth Health
Ideas for the visual style: Character/Manga
Where the design will be used: Print, web, presentations
Extra notes: CACT Youth Health is looking for someone to design some branding for a new, innovative programme to improve the physical and mental wellbeing of teenagers in Greenwich, London.
The project is aimed at Year 11s (15-16 years old) and Year 13s (17-18).
Altogether, we would like a logo (for CACT Youth Health) for the overall brand, plus pictorial graphics to represent each topic we’ll be covering with the young people. These are:
• Healthy eating
• Physical activity
• Emotional wellbeing/stress management/mental health
• Risky behaviour (this includes alcohol consumption/smoking/drug taking/sexual activity)
One of the key elements of the programme is to educate the young people and arm them with information regarding where they can get help with any worries or concerns on their minds.
The graphics will mainly be used during presentations to schools, so they’ll appear on PowerPoints/flyers etc. The logo will be more general, but will bring the project together.
We’d like the branding to be contemporary, upbeat, colourful; maybe in a Manga style, with different characters/depictions which fit together to tell a story, but we’re open to suggestions!
Regarding the CACT Youth Health logo, we’ll be operating under the Charlton Athletic Community Trust umbrella (I've uploaded the logo), so this badge will need to fit alongside it.
We’d like you to send over some initial concept ideas, plus a rough sketch to demonstrate how you envisage the brand looking.
We look forward to hearing from you!
