Description
Experience Level: Expert
General information for the business: Automotive Aftermarket - Online Car Service and Repair Businesses
Industry: Internet/Software
Geographical areas: UK
Data to include: I want to find out the revenue models used by 9 different online car service and repair companies. This is likely to involve reviewing their website but more probably calling them up (as a prospective Garage or Mechanic) and asking what their fees are to become an affiliate of their online platform.
I'm particularly interested in this from the garage owners perspective, i.e., what are:
- monthly / annual fees
- per transaction or booking fees (for MOT, car service, repair)
- any other fees?
- What about car parts? Does the garage have the chance to provide their usual markup on these?
- Does the website base final charges (to the garage) on the online quoted price or final costs indicated by the garage should there be additional (repair) work carried out?
- how does the garage (or the website) get paid?
Results should be presented back in table format and I envisage should only be a page or two long.
Will provide details of the 9 companies to person who wins bid.
Extra notes: Please indicate any relevant experience you may have in this field?
And also what you would charge?
Thank you
