Plano, TX, USJonathan did exactly as he thought he should, but offered no room for additional input or improvement which I wish he did.

Somewhat contradictory in terms. The extremely low $100 budget set by the client did not allow room for additional input or improvement. The brief was very clear that he had "...a 5 page PDF version of an MOU" for a $5m investment. The client required the document in MS Word "...so that I can make edits to it and send it through our legal department. This requires re-typing or recreating document". The brief also only stated to remove prior reference to $7m, the 40% profit-sharing and add a time-limiting self-expiry clause, all of which were completed.
My proposal was accepted at 0340 UK time and I immediately commenced work on it and delivered to the client around 0430 (approx 2230 client local time). The client then sent a long message outlining more comprehensive changes that were not included in the brief.
The client expected me to be flexible but there is only so much I can do for his budget of $100 however he did thank me "... for your efficient reproduction and expected nothing less of course" I was unable to carry out a full review for the price agreed which fell outside the scope of the agreed brief. There was no suggestion that there was further work required. Had the client requested a full and comprehensive review, I would have proposed accordingly, at a much higher price.
