The collaboration with this freelancer was overall challenging. On the positive side, he was willing to implement feedback and provided multiple iterations throughout the project.

However, the process required significantly more coordination than expected. Core requirements, particularly regarding resolution, layer-based file structure, and general design concepts, had to be explained and corrected multiple times. This suggests that fundamental design principles were not consistently understood or applied.

At times, the work appeared to rely heavily on AI-generated elements without sufficient manual refinement, which led to inconsistencies and additional revision cycles.

The total project duration was mainly driven by repeated misunderstandings, use of outdated versions, and correction loops.

Communication remained polite throughout, but a more proactive approach in clarifying uncertainties and a more precise implementation of feedback would have been highly beneficial.

Overall, the freelancer showed willingness to iterate and responded to feedback, but there is clear room for improvement in design understanding, efficiency, and quality control. For simpler tasks with well-defined requirements, he may be a suitable choice, but more complex projects are likely to require additional coordination effort.

I have worked with 230+ buyers and consistently received 5-star ratings. Unfortunately, this was the worst client experience I’ve had.

From the start, the client provided unclear and incomplete requirements, asking me to work on an AI-generated image and revise it repeatedly (15+ revisions). He frequently changed his instructions, requesting elements to be added and then removed.

After completing the work, he introduced a new requirement for fully layered files, which was not part of the original scope. I still spent several extra days recreating everything to meet his request. Despite this, he continued to demand more revisions and even threatened a refund.

I delivered everything to his satisfaction, but in the end, he left a 2-star rating and negative feedback. This was extremely disappointing and does not reflect the quality or effort of my work.
