Designed for the modern consumer, Mismis balances convenience, taste, and health-conscious choices, making it a standout in the fast-food industry. With a focus on delivery and takeout, Mismis requires innovative, high-quality packaging that maintains food temperature, preserves crispiness, and enhances the luxury feel of the brand—all while remaining cost-effective and practical. Scope of Work We are looking for a branding and packaging expert with a strong background in food-safe materials, heat retention, and moisture control for fast food delivery packaging. The ideal candidate will develop a full range of packaging solutions for Mismis, considering factors such as insulation, ventilation, durability, weight, and cost-efficiency. Key Responsibilities: 1. Packaging Innovation & Design • Develop a full set of packaging solutions including: • Resealable food bags (for sandwiches & meal combos) • Custom chicken container (an alternative to the traditional “chicken bucket” design, like a foil-based concept) • Fries packaging (designed to keep fries crispy, not soggy) • Burger boxes (durable, lightweight, and heat-insulated) • Single meal packaging (for combo meals with dividers) • Sauce containers (spill-proof and secure for delivery) • The chicken packaging should be unique, departing from the typical “bucket” concept while ensuring optimal heat retention and crispiness preservation. • Consider various materials (foil-lined, kraft paper, PE-coated board, aluminum, biodegradable plastics, etc.) and recommend the best solutions based on research. • Ensure packaging aligns with Mismis’ branding—luxurious yet cost-effective and visually appealing. 2. Material & Functional Considerations • Research and propose materials that prevent sogginess and maintain heat for delivery. • Incorporate lightweight yet durable materials to minimize shipping costs. • Develop ventilation strategies to allow steam to escape without losing heat. • Ensure leak-proof and grease-resistant designs. • Offer sustainable options without compromising functionality. 3. Technical & Printing Preparation • Create a detailed PDF mockup showcasing all packaging designs, including: • Dimensions and structure breakdown • Material descriptions and reasoning • Ventilation and insulation features • How the packaging fits within the Mismis branding • Deliver print-ready files for production, including dielines, printing specifications, and finishing details (e.g., matte/gloss lamination, foil stamping, spot UV). • Provide material sourcing recommendations with cost analysis. 4. Converting space above a shop
I seek a knowledgeable building surveyor to professionally draft construction plans for a residential project. Situated above a commercial shop is an underutilized space with potential to be transformed into a livable one-bedroom flat. Compliant schematics are required to detail this proposed conversion and submit to the local building authority for review and permitting. The scope of work involves measuring and mapping the existing structure to produce scale technical drawings depicting all structural elements, plumbing layout, electrical wiring, and insulation/ventilation specifications. Design plans must adhere to current building regulations and code standards to ensure safety and habitability. Considerations like structural integrity, light/ventilation, fire escapes and means of access must be demonstrated. Having received planning approval, production of permit-ready building plans is the next crucial step to realize this residential development. Work includes liaising with contractors and overseeing the execution. The selected candidate must have at least 3 years experience in residential interior design projects of similar scale, excellent Adobe Creative Suite skills and strong portfolio of past works that feature elegant yet practical design solutions for compact urban homes.
Check building control regulations
I hope you're well. I applied for two certificates of regularisation for work I've done. I had called my council, Brent, before starting the work (replacing all rotten windows in 2014 and installing bifold doors in the kitchen) and they said i didn't need to apply for planning permission, but failed to mention that I needed to apply for building control, which has only come to my attention now that I'm selling my house. The building control surveyor came on two occasions but didn't issue me the certificates due -in his view- to not meeting specs in terms of ventilation. however, for what I can see online, those specs only came into force in 2022. I've emailed and messaged him my findings but he refuses to budge. Therefore I need a legal opinion on that and saw that you have experience in real estate law- not sure that applies to construction but please let me know if of interest anyway. Thanks in advance, Frederique PS: i'm attaching correspondence as well as documents that seem to indicate he's wrong. There are a lot of attachments but they're short messages

2D and 3D design - Ideally using sketch up or similar
I require a skilled digital designer to assist with 2D floor plans and 3D renderings for bathroom remodeling projects. Initial duties will involve creating precise 2D technical drawings of existing bathroom layouts utilizing programs like SketchUp. Once approved by clients, 3D visualizations of the renovated spaces will then be produced depicting finalized design selections. Cabinet schematics will be provided using Mozaik, but other items must be incorporated as chosen, such as mirrors, light fixtures, ventilation fans, tile patterns for floors and walls, shower installations, and paint colors for moldings and surfaces. A high degree of attention to detail is needed when bringing clients' visions to life through digital means. Long-term collaboration is sought, as various projects are anticipated throughout the year requiring expertise in 2D technical drafting and sophisticated 3D modeling. The ability to proficiently navigate 3D design software while accurately representing building materials, textures, and fixtures will be invaluable assets. Competitive hourly or project-based rates will be offered commensurate with demonstrated experience and capabilities.
Need a creative email design
Hello, We are looking to send a short constructive introduction of our service and skills email. We are a maintenance company. We are looking for something that will capture our client eye visually. We are a multi trades company core business we specialise in is electrical, HIU repair, Fire door inspection and installation, Ventilation Service , electric boiler repairs and installation. we need something we can just imbed onto the email and send to clients but something creative .
Basement Ventilation system
We are seeking a qualified mechanical engineer or HVAC specialist to design an effective ventilation system for a basement room measuring 3m wide, 15m long, and 2.5m high. The room has high humidity levels that need to be monitored and managed to ensure a comfortable and healthy environment.
MVHR design
We have a ventilation issue with our house, old 20s build with single block, chimneys and wall vents have been blocked up and insulation in the suspended floor. Considering single point d-MEV in the top stairwell but not sure it will do the job as we regularly have 80% humdity in some rooms. Perhaps its better we should just go all out with MVHR either single units in most rooms or perhaps ducted throughout. A lot of mvhr installation seems to be the ductwork so i was thinking DIY this part (upper flooring is all being refurbished by me anyway so can access the ceilings). then just get an electrician in for the wiring it up in the loft Is this something you could help design with? what would you charge? House plan attached. Cheers
