ood Morning I urgently need live help with understanding and working with sharepoint, Azure AD, Teams. We have moved our server into a site on Sharepoint and trying to share and use access rights to link with teams and sharepoint and one drive, but i have used access rights to allow a folder to be seen by a group and its just not appearing any where on the user im using. i have one site and then all folders in the site with a few documents at top level, i have given full access to everyone for 2 folders, i have then linked sharepoint of the site to Teams, however nothing is showing in teams. and if you open in new window it opens the whole server but i have added access rights. we also have setup teams to do this but both ways are not working. has to be live help now with an expert. RECENT UPDATE, I HAVE NOW WORKED OUT HOW TO REMOVE PARENT PERMISSION AND INHERENT AND HAVE REMOVED ALL ACCESS OTHER THAN OWNERS I CAN NOW ADD PER USER, NOT GROUP. NOT SURE IF POSSIBLE BUT USER BUT THE TAB FOR SHAREPOINT IS NOT LOADING IN TEAMS WITH THE DATA, BUT IF YOU RIGHT CLICK AND OPEN IN NEW WINDOW, IT OPENS SHAREPOINT AND DATA IS CORRECT THERE, ANY IDEAS?

Share Point: search page required, driven from an Excel list
I require a search page within a share point site. It needs to be a simple search text field, similar to google, but on searching the results will be coming from an Excel document which is also hosted behind the scenes, wihtin the sharepoint site. *** this is not the normal search option in Share Point, it's a custom power app *** On page load, the search results will be loaded from the Excel. On keypress, the search results will automatically search after 3rd character has been typed... showing results dynamically as the person types. Searching will be driven from a few columns in the Excel. Title, Description, Source. And searching will span those three columns, ie. "Finance Report" will show results where the words Finance and Report are present in the Excel... This Share Point customised page needs to sit within the middle of a normal Sharepoint page within an internal company website. So for testing, you will need to build and test it in your own Sharepoint for us to look at, review, sign off... and then on "OK" I need to migrate it into my company internal website myself (you might be able to remotely watch me do this, will see what i can do). Native English speakers only please. Sorry but i'm very strict on this detail since i usually get bombarded with people from all over the place and building something like this needs good communications. Also, no consultancies or third parties... i am looking for 1 developer who will build it, not passed off to others.

Custom content scraper scripts and associated link checkers

I haven't been able to reply to each one of you individually, but will message you if the situation changes, thanks. _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ I run a website in New Zealand that displays the clearance stock of various local stores, scraped directly from their websites. The stores whose products I display are my clients and range from women's clothing to shoes to electronics and such. All of these stores have a website (some are online only) and I usually display the products from the SALE / Clearance / Outlet section of the site, which are marked down in price. There is no buying or selling in my site, but all products have a 'Buy Now' that redirects my site's traffic to the product's original page in the retailer's site so you can buy the products directly from them. Some stores only have 30 products while others could have 300 or more. Every time I sign up a store, I get their permission to display their products in my site and will need a custom content scraper script for that store. For example, if I sign up a women's clothing store and they have a website, I'll need a script that will scrape all the products from one or more sections of their site (like SALE or Outlet or Clearance) and output the results in the form of CSV files. I can then upload the CSV files in the back end of my site so that the scraped products display properly in the front end. I will need a unique script for each store that I can execute from my computer as many times as I need. I will also need a corresponding link checker for the store. The link checker script (also unique for that store) will check all the products of a store in my site against the original shop's site and notify me which products have expired (no longer listed in the original site) and which products have had their details changed (like price or title). I am willing to pay $30 for each content scraper script and $20 for the link checker, so USD $50 in total for each shop. I will be averaging 2-3 shops a month give or take and am looking for someone who can work long term with me. Each time I want a new script done for a new client, I will specify which sections & features I want included and which ones omitted. You must be able to tailor the script accordingly, including things like formatting and links. You will have good communication skills, be willing & able to follow instructions via email (no Skyping or video/voice chatting), be competent and skilled, produce the scripts in a reasonable time (3-5 days max) and be reliable. You must also be very proficient in content scraping and have a good understanding of WordPress. You will only need to do 1 script and a link checker for that shop to start with, but will have more to do down the line. I will give you all the specific details, links etc. if I shortlist you. No need to bid for less than what I've proposed, just do a good job for that price and I'll be happy.
Sharepoint - Conditional Access Policy in Azure
I would like to apply the following conditional access policy across all sharepoint sites. I want to limit certain user access between TWO groups: Group A: Restricted Sharepoint site access to specific IP address (they can only access the Sharepoint site in their work location). For example site permission 'Visitors' Group B: No restrictions Sharepoint site (they can access Sharepoint site anytime anywhere without IP address restrictions). For example site permissions 'Members' and 'Owners'. I know how to access Azure and the conditional access policy section. I just don't know what to do from there as there are alot of options. To execute this we will conduct a meeting via Teams/Zoom so I can screenshare and you can advise.

Immediate need for an app architect/senior developer (can be one person or more than one if a team/company) with good experience in Azure Function App design, development, testing, and documentation for an enterprise client I'm working with. Also require previous experience in SPO (SharePoint Online). You MUST have app architect level design and documentation skills and experience in UML. The client's sales division is creating a new SharePoint site where they need security and permissions assignment in a document library automated based upon values in AAD (Azure AD)/Entra. The site will have 2 "classes" of users, those that are 'sales reps' and those that are 'management'. There are multiple sales teams that these users are part of. In brief, the Function App would need to: - Create a new folder in the SPO library for each new sales rep when hired, and set permissions on that folder (and any folders that get created under it) such that only that sales rep, and their manager, and their manager's manager up to the chief sales officer, have access to the content in that folder. Obviously, the further up the org chart someone is in the sales division, the more folders they will have access to for the people that report to them. As such the Function App will need to parse and loop through the hierarchy in AAD/Entra and store those relationships and then use those to assign the appropriate permissions in AAD. - 2nd use case: where someone that is a sales rep gets promoted to a management role. In this use case the Function App would need to parse through the sales rep users that previously reported to another sales manager and realign the permissions on those sales reps folder structures to be under the newly promoted manager. - 3rd use case: a variation on the 2nd use case where someone already working for the company in a different role transfers in at a management level. In this use case the Function App would need to parse through the sales rep users that previously reported to another sales manager and realign the permissions on those sales reps folder structures to be under the transferred in manager. - 4th use case: When any of the users in scope for the Function App leave (voluntarily or otherwise) or transfer to a different department in the company, the client wants all of their content moved over to a different SPO site collection that none of the users in the sales division would have access to and the content being moved would inherit the permissions from that new site.
