Proofreader for Evangelical Christian Devotional Sampler

We’re looking for sharp, detail-focused proofreaders to review a 4,000-word devotional sampler. This is a one-time job with potential for future collaboration.

The text is Bible-centered and intended for an Evangelical Christian audience. Strong familiarity with Scripture will help you do well on this project. The assignment is straightforward proofreading—no rewriting or formatting changes needed.

Project Details:
* Length: Around 4,000 words
* Genre: Christian devotional sampler (Bible-based)
* Deadline: 2 business days after assignment is made (in early June)
* Focus: Proofreading only (no editing/rewriting)

Who We’re Looking For:
* Someone with solid Bible knowledge
* Prior proofreading experience—especially with devotional or Christian content
* Accuracy, efficiency, and reliability
* Strong Familiarity with The Chicago Manual of Style is a plus

Please Note:
* No Bible reference-checking, heavy editing, or formatting adjustments are needed
* Work will be provided and completed in PDF format so that editorial comments should be made using Adobe's comment feature
* We expect to hire multiple freelancers for this project in order to compare results
* We plan to contact selected applicants in early June
