I’m looking for an editor to recreate the style of the final montage from 'Love Actually' — reference video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iPdYBcaO3is, from 02:25 onwards.
I’ll provide around 150 photos and potentially 20 short video clips*to create a **30–45 second montage. Some photos will need cropping into a 16:9 frame.
The sequence should begin with a few individual photos, then gradually expand into a growing photo mosaic — for example:
1–2 photos → 4 photos → 16 photos → 64 photos → 256 photos
Once we reach the larger grid, photos can be duplicated as they will be too small to notice individually.
As the montage builds, I’d like the photos to subtly shift, cycle and move position to create the feeling of more and more memories appearing on screen. Instead of forming the heart shape seen in the 'Love Actually' montage, I’d like the colour grading/brightness of selected photos to reveal the number “40” in the centre of the mosaic.
The montage should then fade smoothly to black at the end.
Final delivery should be 1080p50.

Do you already have the music/timing planned, and would you like the “40” reveal to be subtle and blended into the mosaic or more obvious at the climax?
