Description
Experience Level: Expert
General information for the website: Job board
Kind of development: New website from scratch
Description of every page/module: We have a technical brief of the whole project along with a development project map which will be provided on contact, however in short, we will require a multilingual job board platform, that will work in a similar way as jobsite.co.uk or monster, reed where candidates can upload their CVs and apply for jobs as well as create profiles so potential employers can search for them and contact them directly within the job board.
Audience profile: B2B and B2C audience but talking to consumers within their professional capacity. The tone should be B2B.
Functional focus: E-commerce - as it should primarily be a transactional platform i.e. a place to post CVs, job vacancies and a channel through which candidates and employers can interact
Description of requirements/features: (not limited to as we have only 5000 characters)
Candidates/ jobseekers upload CV and apply for a job
-Candidates can build CVs on the website by filling out a simple form
- They can edit, delete or deactivate uploaded / created Cvs – (multiple format support needed)
- Add profile pictures
- Create the profile using information from your Linkedin or Facebook account
- Once a CV is uploaded to the system it should automatically get a watermark with the Jobboard logo and contact details.
– Results presented from current CV / job search (the top 3 are featured, rest are presented based on user selection (either random, proximity to location, or job title)
- They can attach additional files as well (logo and contact details same as above)
- Candidates can anonimise CVs so all details will be shown but without contact details / or they can choose which employers can view their CV
- Candidates are able to apply for a job online either through their account or without creating an account (simply uploading a CV from their computer) and adding a cover message
Apply with Linkedin profile
Search
- Candidates can search for jobs with keywords only or more structured search with additional details (ie location, radius, by company name, by salary range, job title) – Filter results
2 search types: simple (single input) and extended (including all filters).
- Search results can be saved for future review (needs account) and can be emailed to an email address (this creates a new jobs email newsletter at a frequency chosen by the candidate – daily, weekly, monthly)
New jobs are sent by email
Employers
Job posting
- Employers should be able to easily create a profile and upload and post a vacancy
- For employers profile details should include: Company name, contact person with their contact details (website, phone number, email, linkedin company page), and company information, as well as company logo, and if wanted youtube video
- Employers can also choose how to receive the application (via email / or to redirect applicants to different URL)
- Employers should be able to SAVE drafts of jobs / or create templates that they can use for future jobs that are posted
Company Profile Page
- Employers can create a company profile page where they can upload a logo, add a link to their website and post any other information to attract more applicants.
- Employers should be able to pay for a featured company profile
- Employers page will display all active jobs posted by this company
- There should be a separate “all employers” page where every company that advertises on the website is listed
CV Search
- Create a search system that scans each candidate’s profile and each listing for the right keywords, so that employers can always find the best candidates for their vacancies
Employer Dashboard
-Employers should have all the necessary tools to manage their jobs, see stats by job views, view applications from job seekers and manage profile settings in their dashboard
-Employers should be able to add more sub accounts to their profile and authorize other members of the company to use the profile
Admin Dashboard
-Built-in admin dashboard that will allow to view the performance of the job board including sales, job/cv postings, job alerts and applications sent
-Manage Employers, Jobs and CVs – administrator should have a full control over user profiles and listings. They should be able to easily view/ add/ edit or delete any user profile or job.
Ability to import and export job board data (ability to export all jobs in an xml format with all preset fields, or at the same time be able to import jobs data from an xml file created in a preset format with all fields)
- Ability to Manage Website content and create static content pages.
- Blog/ News option
- Automatic Job Import
