Are you really dead set on using GoDaddy? If not then I would suggest looking at other options as GoDaddy is awful.
If you are just looking for a cheap and simple website builder, then take a look at kopage.uk, which doesn;t tie you in.
If you want more flexibility the WordPRess is the better choice.
