Description
Experience Level: Entry
I’m starting The Adventure Collective, a not-for-profit community project connecting people with affordable adventures and local activities — often for less than the price of a takeaway coffee.
I need a basic skeleton website built quickly — just the framework (pages, menu, placeholders, and regional structure). Myself and volunteers from our organisation will be doing all the legwork of filling in content and expanding it later — this job is only about setting up the bare bones.
Requirements:
• Build on Wix or Squarespace (or a similar easy-to-edit platform).
• Must be fully editable by us afterwards.
• Setup of main pages: Home, About, Ambassadors, Community Coordinators, Activities, Volunteers (with sign-up form), Contact.
• Framework should support localised versions (via subdomains or regional sections) for Bristol, Bath, Weston, Swindon, Gloucester, Cardiff, Swansea, etc.
• Clean, simple design — no extras needed.
• Quick turnaround — ideally within a few days.
Notes:
• This is skeleton only — we’ll handle all content ourselves later.
• Individual freelancers only, no agencies.
• This is a not-for-profit initiative with very limited funds, supported entirely by volunteer effort.
Budget: £120 total (fixed price — open to competitive offers).
Attachments: I’ll provide a content pack (text + page structure) and image folder (photos + graphics)

Hello Robert,
1. Do you already have a preferred platform (Wix/Squarespace), or should I recommend the best fit?
2. How would you like the regional structure set up — subdomains (e.g., bristol.site.com) or sections within the site (e.g., site.com/bristol)?
3. Do you want me to include a basic volunteer sign-up form integration (e.g., email collection or form submission to your inbox)? -

Hi Robert, Could you please share any example websites or references you like for the design or layout?
