Project Overview
We are building a premium skincare brand and are looking for an experienced UX and Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) specialist to review our homepage design before development begins.
Our UX/UI designer will create the initial design. Your role is to evaluate whether the experience is engaging, intuitive, and optimized to convert visitors into customers.
This is a strategic review and recommendation project—not a UI design project.
Responsibilities
You will:
Review our homepage design (Figma)
Evaluate the user journey from first impression to call-to-action
Identify friction points and areas where users may lose interest
Assess information hierarchy and content flow
Review mobile and desktop usability
Evaluate trust-building elements
Assess CTA placement and effectiveness
Review navigation and overall user experience
Provide recommendations based on UX and CRO best practices
Suggest improvements that increase engagement and conversions
Deliverables
Please provide:
A comprehensive UX/CRO audit
Annotated feedback directly in Figma (preferred) or in a PDF/Google Doc
A prioritized list of recommendations (High, Medium, Low impact)
Suggested improvements for:
Hero section
Value proposition
Product discovery
Trust signals
Social proof
Navigation
Calls-to-action
Mobile experience
Any additional ideas to improve engagement and conversion rates
Ideal Experience
We're looking for someone with experience in:
E-commerce UX
Direct-to-consumer (DTC) brands
Beauty or skincare websites (preferred)
Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO)
Consumer psychology
Shopify stores
Landing page optimization
Mobile-first design
Heatmaps and user behavior analysis
A/B testing strategies
Please include examples of previous UX/CRO audits or websites you've helped improve.
