Wordpress Flickity Slider - land on last item - navigate left

My WordPress website uses Salient theme. Flickity slider is on of the sliders available as part of the theme.

I am creating a career history timeline using the slider. By default the slider scrolls from left to right.

For my career timeline, I want the slider to land on the last item (my most current role), and navigate left through my past career history.

All styles to remain as they are currently, it's only the functionality that should change.

This would require custom JQuery being added.
