Simple Bookkeeping Application (PHP/Laravel)

We have the Chart of Accounts views and Chart of Account forms with incremental account code numbers generated for each new Account, in working order. I achieved this within 2 days, with elementary coding skills and ChatGPT.

Our next stage of this project is to prepare the Ledgers (which are essentially just MySQL tables) so that the Journal form has somewhere to put the new Journal Entry records.

After that, we just need to create the Trial Balance page (which is another table with some sum/calculated fields) and that's the entire scope of the Phase 1.

We are not concerned with visuals/aesthetics - currently we're implementing basic html. It works fine. We can keep using HTML for the front end, or if you want to use an admin dashboard theme like Argon dashboard or CoreUI Laravel (something free and off the shelf) that is fine.

This project is essentially a postgraduate computer science final year project. I have a clear understanding of the project requirements, logic and next steps, but I was thinking of outsourcing this to save my time.

The key words for this project are: simple and cheap. I do not need beautiful and expensive. If we can see everything *work*, then we can make things more beautiful/extend functionality later in another phase. Happy for you to use ChatGPT or any other aids, whatever saves time/costs/gets it done.
